Fantastic MovieWonderful movie that shows the complexities and leadership of Lincoln. Interesting so many of the negative reviews are just the vinegar of some Southerners who say the movie ‘rewrites’ history all while they characterize the war as the ‘war of Northern aggression’, while they argue the war had nothing to do with slavery and while they seem to fail to recognize the acts of treason their own family members committed against the United States. Yes, we are still fighting this war….and it’s time to remember who actually won..Score: 5/5

TerribleThis was the 2nd worst movie I rented from iTunes. It was so, boring we turned it off after an hour. I’m wondering if I can get my rental money refunded from iTunes. Like reading an old newspaper."You are witnessing the greatest American of all time" is the implicit punctuation for almost every scene. Lincoln says something, people are in awe. Repeat for 3 hours. Deft political calculations are made in candle-lit rooms. His wife is pretty crazy, but she lost a child. The lighting, cinematography, costume design, set design, music and acting were perfect..Score: 3/5

Though this was a historical time in American society, it's a pretty boring topic for those who live in countries that never had slavery and racism and see it as an American problem.
