With its Christmas lights and dusting of snow, Kingston Falls is an idyllic small town--until the gremlins take over. A father returns from Chinatown with an unusual pet, a Mogwai--a gift for his son. The rules are simple: Keep your Mogwai away from water, bright lights and, most importantly, never--never--feed him after midnight. But the rules are inadvertently broken, and the consequences multiply at an alarming rate.

Awesome movie, not entirely scary thoughOk, so I mean not much scares me, so saying it’s not scary coming out of my mouth probably won’t help 🤣 but it was still awesome!! Loved the scenes where they like exploded or blended or whatever (love anything remotely gross)! Just one thing, probably not the best for kids considering that first of all, the language, second, the alcoholic stuff, and third, the fact that one of the characters says “...and thats when I found out that Santa Claus isn’t real.” Not stupid, not idiotic, not a waste of money. One of the all time best movies.I saw this at the drive-in in 84'. I was 6 one of the best movies i ever seen. My dad would bring a 6 pack of budweiser to the drive-in and we would enjoy watching great movies like this. Being a child prodigy at the time, non-fiction books, 80's music cranked up on a saturday morning; the 80's brought me so much happiness, nothing can compare to the movies, telivison shows and music back then.
