Hansel and gretelJust finished watching this movie and for 3.99 I gotta say,it's a pretty good movie. Good action and good witch genre. I loved van helsing,and this was right up my alley. It wasn’t supposed to be The Deer Hunter...This is indeed an over-the-top, slapstick-esque production, but it wasn’t half as bad as I thought it might be. It’s fun and gory, has good energy and I think Jeremy Renner is great in whatever he does. Gemma Arterton was great too. Smart, beautiful, sexy, ballsy and a very solid actress. Excellent action/comedy/fantasyCritics are dumb, stuffy, boring old farts dressed in university professor clothing. This movie is badass. It has the same feel as the Supernatural tv show. Great!!This movie was great. I'm not sure why it was receiving such negative reviews. I typically never finish a movie in one sitting, and I did with this one. It brings back the childhood memory of this story, with some really great additions.
Acting was great, plot was exciting and the special effects were solid.

Dansk Filmen 'Witch Hunters’ må siges at være en fri fortolkning af Brødrene Grimms klassiske eventyr om Hans og Grete. Filmen foregår i en eventyrverden, 15 år efter Hansel og Gretel dræbte heksen, som kidnappede dem i pandekagehuset. Barndommens traume satte så dybe spor hos søskendeparret, at de som voksne er blevet dusørjægere med speciale i at jage og dræbe hekse. Der er ikke den heks, Hansel og Gretel ikke kan finde, og deres metoder er skånselsløse. Da fem børn pludseligt forsvinder på én gang, tilkaldes den dødelige duo, men denne specifikke heks opfører sig højst utraditionelt, og inden længe er Hansel og Gretel selv de jagede.
