Walt Goes Out with a BangIn the last few years of his life, Walt Disney worked on this very loose adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's stories of Mowgli the "man-cub." Unfortunately, Walt never lived to see this film completed; he died ten months before its initial release. As with many of Walt's previous animated projects, "The Jungle Book" is a film that every kid should be introduced to. The story is great, the songs are awesome, and the film is beautiful to look at. Timeless classic!I grew up watching this, and as a kid I thought it was amazing. The songs were great, it was overall one of my all time favorites (until Beauty and the Beast came out! HAHA!)
I'm 30 now and decided to watch it again after 15+ years... and it's STILL great!
It's full of little funny "Adult jokes" throughout it (that I obviously didn't catch as a kid) But I have to say I still after all these years love it!
The songs are so dang catchy to!
"The bear necessities" which Baloo the bear sings and "I wanna be like you!" that King Louis songs are still absolutely wonderful.
If you haven't watched this before, or if you're like myself and haven't seen it in many years...Trust me and watch it!
