Matt Helm, the debonair secret agent, saves the world from doom in this fourth and final "Matt Helm" feature. This time he prevents the world's economy from collapsing as a crime ring hijacks $1 billion in gold. The crime ring's plan is eventually foiled, but only after countless fights, chases, and murders.

Stupid beyond belief, terrible acting, 3rd rateI remember when these films came out, when the Playboy era was in full swing. This, as with the other Helm films, while trying to be funny, were not, and despite their high budgets they were truly third-rate. These films may be compared to the Flint series of spy spoofs and, as silly as the Flint were, the Helm films didn't measure up. This movie is insufferably awful - truly among the very worst of the spy genre. Not just silly but moronic. While in many other films Dean Martin proved himself to be a good actor, in this film, he doesn't show it. And the female lead (with all due respect for her fate) is truly incompetent - nothing more than a pretty face, as with every other film she'd appeared in and with a career that would not have lasted. To see an example of that kind of character done properly, watch Raquel Welch in Richard Lester's Three Musketeers (1973). This, as with the other Matt Helm pictures, is a total waste of time..Score: 1/5
