Catching up on all the Marvel movies, this is too hard to follow. Plot is all over the place and doesn’t make you care about the characters.
A good movie and all, but too much comedy that makes the film feel cheap.

Bigger, better, epic
This movie is awful
I definitely thought this was the worst Marvel Cinematic Universe film. I didn’t like the villains, and the whole Game Of Thrones and WoW theme. One of the things I like about Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely is that they add a lot of emotion to their screenplays. In this film, they added, and failed to add, too much. I’m not saying it’s bad. It had plenty of good and interesting parts. But, still, it was just alright.
This is one of my least favorite marvel movie it was kind of forgettable.
I watched this on a plane and half of the time the seat back in front of me was far more intriguing. The only redeeming piece of this is that I already wasted a few hours of my life on the plane and this was partially distracting. I would never recommend this to anyone that... No. I almost put a qualifier on that. I would never recommend this to anyone, ever.
Skip this one
Great enjoyable movie, and like always it had its funny moments
An awesome movie great action, great special effects, amazing story. All in all a great movies.
This movie was more likely the same as the first one, but with more scenes being shown what Loki can also do besides being a Villain to his brother Thor, help Thor out in bad situations just like these ones, too bad Loki got stabbed, don’t even know if he still lives, (Confusion) I hope to Marvel that they can bring Loki back to life in the 3rd Movie, I wish to see him again fighting alongside Thor in a sort of Villainous good way. I LOVE watching Thor & Loki fighting alongside altogether in these types of Movies.
It was lacking something. Was OK. Definitely a rental!
While we thought the first movie was okay, we were immediately engrossed with this one. It impressed us right away, a sure sign that it was a significantly better version. The original Thor was a bit choppy at times and very slow cinematically which left us feeling a bit apprehensive about viewing Dark World. This time around, it was much better paced and very well balanced. Changing directors was definitely the right decision which produced a much more slick and action packed sequel. The visuals are simply stunning that transports the viewer to an incredible journey into another world. However, we would have liked to have seen more interaction with Loki, he seemed to have moved into the background instead of being a forefront character. Overall a great ride!
After seeing the first one and him in the Avengers, this still is not the real Thor. The costume is wrong, size of the character is wrong, and strengths and powers are limited. I'm surprised Lee and Marvel let this go. Helmsworth does a decent job, but Thor should have been computer generated as Hulk was generated. This movie was ok, but as a side note, Portsman was lame, I think she came out of hiding for the money.
Histoire ridicule. Perte de temps.
Best movie ever, I guarantee you won't regret purchasing The Dark Wolrd
I found the movie to be very enjoyable, however there were some seceded that were quite, say, imaginative! I am looking forward to the next couple of movies that follow this theme😋
Great movie! I love all the Marvel movies, can't wait for the next installment... Must see!
Why can't you just rent it?
Yeah, it's pretty enjoyable (if you don't think about it at all), but SO much of this film doesn't make sense! SO many things are embarrasingly coincidental/ illogical based on the film's/ Marvel Universe's own laws... Just have a look online to see how silly the film really is. I really hope 'Ragnarok' is better...
Don’t waste your time. I turned it off after an hour
Great sequel.. witty and interesting with a twisting plot.. You just cant help but like Loki. Unfortunately though, Thor only has his shirt off for about 30 seconds of the movie :(
Thor isn't my favourite avenger, (Captain America is!) but I did enjoy the first movie. I was interested when this came out to see if it would beat its predessor. Well, let me get to the point, it didn't. It was just, ok. I didn't like the thing that possesses the girl because it was too close to a demon, and I also thought that this installment was a bit darker than the first, hence the title. Christian's should take note before deciding to see it. Apart from a few good morals there isn't really anything uplifting either, and it's predictable, except for that one scene with Loki which I won't give away. Overall I just wasn't satisfied. See the first one if you haven't and maybe skip this unless you're interested in the avenger's story. I don't recommend this to Christians sorry to say.
I enjoyed this film I laughed where I should and the action was big where it should be, but I felt it really was just more of the same advancing and the Thor narrative and enhancing promoting the Marvel Franchise. Don't forget to Play "Where's Stan Lee"
What an amazing actor, Loki is the best villain in the Marvel universe and it is all due to Tom's skill.
Waaaaay better than Man of Steel, and even a bit more fun than Iron Man 3. DC should watch this and understand that not all superhero movies should be depressing and dark! Way to go Marvel. Highly recommended as the Star Wars prequel we all wanted but never got.
I just hope this bumps up to 1080p from the poorer quality 720p HD by the time it is actually available for purchase. $29.99 for 720p, I don’t think so.
