High Flying WhodunnitI loved this movie. Great action and great suspense. Neeson does these types of roles better than anyone else. He brings a deeper level to his brooding characters than many action actors could ever hope to. I particularly liked how the movie takes you in one direction and then another and then another as we search for answers. And the ending had me in tears. A modern Agatha Christie novelesqueThis is the most underrated movie of the year for sure. Most of it takes place in a flight. The background engine noise in the movie puts you in that flight. The story itself reminds me of an Agatha Christie novel "Death on the clouds" and a pinch of "And then there were none". This mystery mixed with action is a must watch and for sure one of my fav. I bought this movie the day it had it's early release (yesterday).

Keeps you guessingThis surprised me. A thriller on a plane that has you thinking you know all the answers (because we're such expert movie watches), then flips it. Yes, it's a contrived subplot. And the reasoning behind this terrorist act is goofy, BUT...it is a lot of fun. It interweaves a really elaborate set-up that you have to focus on to understand.
Also, for people who think they're sophisticated in camera motion. Think about that space. The camera moves in (perceived) 360 degrees without a) seeing camera shadow b) camera angle is near impossible with the movements they had. This is visually sophistication that most won't see or care. But it adds a ton to the claustrophobia.
Julianne Moore is great, as always. Neeson is perfect for this role, but one has to wonder how this behemoth of a guy fits in a airplane bathroom..PollyKettle555Score: 4/5

You would be wise to skip this…...This is about as ridiculous as a movie can get. It starts out intriguing, then degenerates as Liam Neeson thinks he knows who the bad guy is, again, and again, and again, with so many cliche bad guy possibilities as to be humorous. Every time he has a new suspect he goes off the rails and assaults the poor guy. Only to find a new bad guy a few minutes later to beat up. Then we finally get an explanation for the whole thing that is about as implausible as the jet’s landing at the end. Not only do you need a suspension of disbelief, but it desperately needs to grow as the movie ticks along, barring that, a large bottle of wine would benefit. Let’s see, the plane dives, a gun floats off the floor in to the air, but Neeson is still standing? Ok , we better suspend physics for a while here as well. The first 90% of the movie tries to intrigue you as to why the bad guy knows so much about Neeson, that it obviously has to be something personal(they even throw in a Red Herring early on to make you suspect an obvious “suspect”), then the big reveal comes and your left thinking, “What the ??” at the most dimwitted motive and implausible ending possible..DillusionedScore: 2/5
