“The Godfather of Soul” ResurrectedThe movie was a very well acted and respectful depiction of James Brown. As a huge fan of the “Godfather of Soul” I was impressed. Chadwick Boseman gave a superb performance. He imitated Browns, voice, dance moves and even his walk superbly. He even looked a lot like him. I could watch this flick over and over again..Score: 4/5

Get On Up movie reviewI was really disappointed with this one. I went in thinking I'd like it and I came out not liking it. The film's slow pace is mainly what made me not like the movie. I couldn't really get into it. However I think the performance by Chadwick Boseman was Incredible. Best movie I've seen in a while!The music, actors and music were absolutely right on the money. The movie did jump around but the pieces all did come together in a coherent way....there was nothing gratuitous about any of the characters, emotions or story.
