John Wayne stars as a male-chauvinist cowboy who must learn to work for a female ranch owner as he becomes framed for murder in a plot between ranchers and a corrupt judge to steal a young woman's inheritance.

Wayne & RainesWayne plays the stranger who arrives in town and soon finds out that something fishy is going on and it involves him. Well shot and wonderfully acted, Wayne plays the classic cool but tough cowboy that wins through right and might. Ella Raines plays his love interest perfectly and looks amazingly beautiful.
