Academy Award® nominee Quvenzhané Wallis (Best Actress, Beasts of the Southern Wild, 2012) stars as Annie, a young, happy foster kid who’s also tough enough to make her way on the streets of New York. But everything’s about to change when the hard-nosed tycoon and New York mayoral candidate Will Stacks (Jamie Foxx) makes a thinly-veiled campaign move and takes her in. Stacks believes he’s her guardian angel, but Annie’s self-assured nature and bright, sun-will-come-out-tomorrow outlook on life just might mean it’s the other way around.
Annie becomes pregnant. Since she doesn't want to keep the child, she meets a movement that performs illegal abortions. But, in the seventies, Annie will encounter allies and opponents along the way.

Great movie!!!Im not sure why everyone is giving this a bad review i loved when i saw this in the movies I'm downloading it right now actually! I bought the hard knock life song on iTunes! Its a wonderful movie and I really liked Cameron Diaz in it. You obviously haven't seen the movie if your giving it a bad review its very nice and a modern way of showing the struggles of kids in the system and how hard they work just to have a roof over their head!!.Score: 5/5

Flat remake with no human styleAnnie (2014) had no intention of remaking or rebooting (if you ask) Annie the 3rd time but not only there is controvesry casting a black child actress (Not Being Racist) to play annie instead a grandma-looking child actor. Annie (2014) was a waste of time and includes not having the magic from the two original annie's well it's hard a knock life and the remake proved us right that remakes are a hard life..Score: 1/5

Best movie ever!It's way better then all the other Annie movies and this time they use the best young actress Quvenzhané Wallis! I'm a big fan of Quvenzhané and I'm glad they used a brown girl to be Annie this time because I'm brown and sometimes I feel left out beacause most of the time they use peach pepole for movies and this movie has the love of a family and they are not eve family! 😄.Score: 5/5
