Luke Skywalker begins a journey that will change the galaxy in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. Nineteen years after the formation of the Empire, Luke is thrust into the struggle of the Rebel Alliance when he meets Obi-Wan Kenobi, who has lived for years in seclusion on the desert planet of Tatooine. Obi-Wan begins Luke’s Jedi training as Luke joins him on a daring mission to rescue the beautiful Rebel leader Princess Leia from the clutches of Darth Vader and the evil Empire.

Princess Leia is captured and held hostage by the evil Imperial forces in their effort to take over the galactic Empire. Venturesome Luke Skywalker and dashing captain Han Solo team together with the loveable robot duo R2-D2 and C-3PO to rescue the beautiful princess and restore peace and justice in the Empire.

A Fun Adventure For The AgesLet’s get the bad stuff out of the way Acting is very awkward on most characters, they sound like robots (exceptions would be Han, Obi-Wan, Tarkin and Vader). Some bad dialogue Umm... that’s it... wack... Everything else is great! Even the bad stuff I can let pass given how old it is! Watching this movie again was a truly nostalgic experience! I adore it for its creativity and its sense of fun. Most films don’t have that any more... *sigh* oh well! I love these characters, especially Han and Obi-Wan. The story is timeless with an amazing conclusion and the score is iconic! This film has flaws. But I’m willing to let most of those slide! 9/10.PixarGoodDisneyBadScore: 5/5

Great movie!No one cares what you whiners have to say to feel “cool”. George Lucas had an idea that he sold for 4 BILLION dollars and then he gave it to charity. Legitimate ConcernSo I spent the 24.99 and bought this. Yes, I am an idiot for spending that much. I wonder if the illwill Apple and Disney incur by charging that price is really worth it in the long run? This is re-edited version and shows how off Lucas was when revised it. In the original, Lucas knows when to get serious: c3po asks to sleep when obi wan tells Luke about his father and the force. When they go into the dangerous bar on tatooine, the droids aren't allowed in and before Luke destroys Death Star, R2 is shot and disabled. Yet, in revising this, right after obi wan says, ' never will you see a more wretched place in all the Galaxy" or something, we see these added cartoons in the city being utterly silly, ruining the tension: why release tension you just built up?? Alec Guinness followed by jar jar equivalents. Anyway.WinWen1Score: 4/5
