First 25 MinutesI was into the movie 25 minutes and absolutely bored. I was surprised Kate Beckinsale would lower herself to be in such a mundane and unentertaining movie. I kept waiting for it to pick up pace so I would have a reason to keep watching, but after almost half an hour I realized this movie is a dud. I would rate it at one half a star if that were possible. Don’t bother wasting your time. A poke in the eye with a sharp stick would actually be better than watching this movie..Cem1492Score: 1/5
I want a refundThis movie isn't inspired by any true events that anyone cares about. For some reason the director thinks people want to watch a movie about his life (which we don't). The movie is about the director's wife divorcing him to run off with another man. If you want to see a movie that deals with Amanda Knox this isn't it. Worst EverThis movie was so bad I decided to write my first review ever. It was the worst movie I’ve ever seen. The movie is nothing like the trailer….at all. Half of the movie is a director sitting around with friends justifying why the movie is about himself versus the real story pf the murders. Watch This. Educational?This filme tries to grasp many noble ideas among them the principal character getting lost in the midst of his attempts to write a filme about a terrible murder of the “angel” and who is redeemed by the ugly trials and tribulations brought about the people he meets and the drugs he ingests. It’s accurate to the youth and drug culture in Europe and does reflect the loose free and exploratory nature of ex pats in Italy (and other countries). And it succeeds in focusing us on the tragic loss of the young Meredith killed in Italy. It does all this without however cohesiveness. One could say that was the journey of the character, or one could say it losses itself in the maelstrom of the chaos which also was present. In any case, words somehow do not suffice in the excruciating loss of a child to dark unknown forces and I think that this was in fact his main point. Putting freedom, murder and above all grief on a filme is not an easy task…Fair acting, shallow character development and sadness of plot..ArcticwingScore: 3/5

Český Hlavní postavou filmu je režisér Thomas Lang, který dostane příležitost natočit film podle připravované knihy americké novinářky Simone Fordové. Ta se zabývá kontroverzním soudním procesem studentky obviněné z vraždy své spolubydlící. Simone a Thomas jedou do Itálie, aby se s případem blíže seznámili. Poté, co navštíví místo činu, začne Thomas pochybovat nejen o lidech kolem sebe, počínaje filmovými investory a lidmi od tisku, ale i sám o sobě a svých motivech. Zachrání ho až přátelství s Melanií mladou a bezelstnou britskou studentkou. Díky ní si začne uvědomovat, že nechce natočit film o násilí a vině, ale o lásce a nevinnosti. Chce místo toho natočit film, který bude oběť ctít a který se soustředí na lásku, život a štěstí, které jí byly odepřeny.

Mladý režisér Thomas Lang dostane príležitosť nakrútiť film podľa pripravovanej knihy americkej novinárky Simone Fordovej, ktorá sa zaoberá kontroverzným súdnym procesom študentky obvinenej z vraždy svojej spolubývajúcej. Simone a Thomas idú do Talianska, aby sa bližšie zoznámili s prípadom z Perugie.
