The Flash, Season 2

The Flash, Season 2 poster

Last year, the S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator exploded, creating a dark matter storm that struck forensic scientist Barry Allen — bestowing him with super-speed and making him the fastest man alive. But Barry wasn’t the only person who was given extraordinary abilities that night. The dark matter also created meta-humans — many of whom have wreaked havoc on the city. With the help of the S.T.A.R Labs team, Caitlin Snow, Cisco Ramon and Dr. Harrison Wells, Barry protects the people of Central City from these powerful new threats as The Flash. Following the defeat of Allen's arch-nemesis Eobard Thawne (aka Reverse Flash), Team Flash must quickly turn their attention to the singularity swirling high above Central City, consuming everything in its path. Armed with the heart of a hero and the ability to move at super speeds, Barry charged into the eye of the singularity, but can he actually save his city from impending doom? The Flash, Season 2 Wiki

The Flash, Season 2 Synopsis

1 - The Man Who Saved Central City
In the season premiere, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) has chosen to protect the city on his own — until a meta-human named Atom Smasher (Adam Copeland) attacks.

2 - Flash of Two Worlds
Jay Garrick (guest star Teddy Sears), a mysterious man from Earth-2, appears at S.T.A.R. Labs with a dire warning about an evil speedster named Zoom, who is set on destroying The Flash. Barry and the team must decide if they can trust this stranger, even as they face yet another powerful meta-human. Meanwhile, Joe must deal with a determined officer named Patty Spivot (recurring guest star Shantel VanSanten) who wants to join his meta-human task force.

3 - Family of Rogues
When Barry and the team find out Captain Cold (recurring guest star Wentworth Miller) has been kidnapped, they form an uneasy alliance with his sister, Lisa (recurring guest star Peyton List). However, Barry feels double-crossed when he finds out Snart is working with his father, Lewis Snart (guest star Michael Ironside) on a heist. Meanwhile, Joe is faced with a difficult decision.

4 - The Fury of Firestorm
Barry and the team look for another Firestorm match for Dr. Stein (recurring special guest star Victor Garber). When the team meets Jefferson "Jax" Jackson (guest star Franz Drameh), Caitlin has her reservations about whether Jax is the right match for Dr. Stein. Iris surprises Joe while Barry and Patty grow closer.

5 - The Darkness and the Light
Barry learns a new breacher, Dr. Light, has come through the portal and sets off to capture her. Jay tells Barry that Dr. Light was not a threat on Earth Two and that Barry can reason with her. However, during a fight with The Flash, she blinds him and drops some shocking news about Zoom. Meanwhile, Barry and Patty go out on a date.

6 - Enter Zoom
After recent events, Barry decides it's time to confront Zoom and comes up with a dangerous plan. Caitlin sides with Jay and deems it too dangerous for Barry to engage with the speed demon. However, Iris shows her support and brings forth a surprising ally. We see what Earth Two Harrison Wells's life was like before coming through the breach.

7 - Gorilla Warfare
When Gorilla Grodd returns to Central City and kidnaps Caitlin, Barry and the team race to find her before it's too late. Meanwhile, Cisco plans his first date with the new barista at Jitters, Kendra Saunders (guest star Ciara Renée) and Patty begins to suspect Barry is hiding something from her.

8 - Legends of Today
In its second major crossover event with Arrow, Vandal Savage (guest star Casper Crump) arrives in Central City and sets his sights on Kendra Saunders. After Vandal attacks Kendra and Cisco, they turn to Barry for help. Realizing how dangerous Vandal is, Barry takes Kendra to Star City and asks Oliver and the team to hide her until he can figure out how to stop Vandal. However, things quickly go from bad to worse when a man with wings a.k.a. Hawkman (guest star Falk Hentschel) shows up and flies off with Kendra. Meanwhile, Harrison develops a serum to make Barry run faster and asks Jay to test it out.

9 - Legends of Yesterday
In Part Two of the epic crossover event with The Flash, Oliver and Barry Allen (guest star GRANT GUSTIN) take Kendra Saunders (guest star CIARA RENÉE) and Carter Hall (guest star FALK HENSTCHEL) to a remote location to keep them hidden from Vandal Savage (guest star CASPER CRUMP) while they figure out how to defeat him. Malcolm arranges a meeting between Vandal, the Green Arrow and The Flash that doesn't go as planned. Meanwhile, Felicity, Thea, Diggle and Laurel work with Team Flash to come up with a weapon powerful enough to destroy Vandal Savage.

10 - Running to Stand Still
When Mark Mardon a.k.a. The Weather Wizard (recurring guest star Liam McIntyre) returns to break Leonard Snart a.k.a. Captain Cold and James Jesse a.k.a. The Trickster (recurring guest star Mark Hamill) out of Iron Heights, Barry must stop these rogues from taking over Central City during Christmas. Meanwhile, Joe and Iris meet Wally West (new series regular Keiynan Lonsdale).

11 - Potential Energy
Now that they've grown closer, Barry considers telling Patty that he is The Flash. Meanwhile, Joe and Iris try to get to know Wally; and the team hunts down a meta-human who can slow time itself.

12 - The Reverse-Flash Returns
When Cisco gets a vibe of Eobard Thawne (guest star Matt Letscher), Barry and the team don't believe it. But, after an attack at Mercury Labs, Christina McGee (guest star Amanda Pays) confirms that the Reverse-Flash is back. Meanwhile, Iris and Francine share a nice moment that brings Iris closer to her brother, Wally.

13 - Fast Lane
Barry teams up with Wells to figure out a way to close the breaches, but they are distracted by a meta-human nicknamed Tar Pit (guest star Marco Grazzini) who can transform into liquid asphalt. Iris is concerned for Wally's safety after she finds out about his drag racing hobby. When he refuses to stop, she makes a bold move that puts her in danger.

14 - Welcome to Earth-2
Barry, Wells and Cisco journey to Earth-2 to rescue Wells’ daughter, Jesse (guest star Violett Beane) from Zoom. Although Barry’s stunned when he runs into Earth-2’s Iris and Joe, nothing prepares him for meeting Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) and Deathstorm (recurring guest star Robbie Amell). Meanwhile, back on Earth-1, Jay has to take over the Flash’s responsibilities when a meta-human nicknamed Geomancer (guest star Adam Stafford) attacks Central City.

15 - Escape from Earth-2
In the exciting conclusion to their Earth-2 journey, the team races to find Zoom's lair by asking for help from the most unexpected source on Earth-2. Meanwhile, back on Earth-1, Caitlin rushes to perfect Velocity-9 so that Jay can stop Geomancer.

16 - King Shark
When King Shark escapes from an A.R.G.U.S. holding tank, Lila Michaels (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) and John Diggle (guest star David Ramsey) travel to Central City to warn The Flash, but unfortunately King Shark shows up at the West house and attacks Joe, Iris, Wally and Barry.

17 - Trajectory
Deciding to blow off some steam, Barry and the team head out for a night on the town only to encounter an unexpected speedster who is up to no good. Iris is challenged by an assignment from her new boss (guest star Tone Bell), and is surprised when friction turns to flirtation.

18 - Flash Back
After the shocking revelation that Zoom is Jay Garrick, Barry is more determined than ever to get back to Earth-2 to stop Zoom forever. Desperate to find a way to increase his speed, Barry decides to travel back in time and masquerade as his earlier self in order to get his arch-nemesis, Dr. Harrison Wells/Eobard Thawne, to teach him how to run faster. However, things don't go as planned and Barry is stunned to face familiar foe Hartley Rathaway (guest star Andy Mientus), as well as old friend Eddie Thawne (former series star Rick Cosnett). Iris makes peace with her past in order to embrace her future.

19 - Versus Zoom
Equipped with the tachyon device, Barry believes he is fast enough to stop Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) and wants to open the breaches to catch him. Harry strongly advises against that plan but after Barry convinces him, Harry reveals that Cisco has the power to re-open the breach. Meanwhile, Hunter Zolomon's (Teddy Sears) painful story on Earth-2 is revealed.

20 - Back to Normal
A meta-human with super strength named Griffin Grey (guest star Haig Sutherland) mistakes Harry for Earth-1's Harrison Wells and kidnaps him, demanding that Wells cure him from his current condition. Realizing that another brilliant Wells could help track Griffin's location, Barry asks Jesse to help. Meanwhile, Wally corners Joe about The Flash.

21 - Rupture
Zoom arrives back on Earth-1 intent on taking over Central City. Barry and Wells come up with a plan to stop Zoom once and for all but it's extremely dangerous. Unsure if he should take the risk, Barry reaches out to both fathers for advice. Henry is adamantly opposed to Barry risking his life again but Joe thinks he can handle it – which puts the two men at odds with each other. Meanwhile, Cisco is shocked when he vibes the Earth-2 villain Rupture, who happens to be his brother Dante's (guest star Nicholas Gonzalez) doppelganger. Rupture came to this Earth seeking justice for Reverb's death. Iris decides she's finally ready to open up to Barry about her feelings for him.

22 - The Runaway Dinosaur
With Barry gone, the team must figure out a way to handle the return of an old enemy – Girder (guest star Greg Finley). Realizing Girder is retracing his steps from his last attack, Iris volunteers to act as bait to trap him in S.T.A.R. Labs. Meanwhile, Barry fights to return to his old life. Kevin Smith directs.

23 - Invincible
After Zoom unleashes an army of Earth-2 meta-humans on Central City, Barry is shaken when he sees their leader is the Black Canary's Earth-2 doppelganger, the Black Siren (guest star Katie Cassidy). Meanwhile, Wally takes to the streets to help The Flash stop the meta-humans, which worries Joe. Iris and Henry are concerned about Barry taking on Zoom.

The Flash, Season 2 Reviews

A great addition, but...  Darnell_Jackson22  5 star

It’s a little confusing. Who am I kidding, the first time around it’s pretty darn confusing! Most confusing season of all 5! But w that being said, it’s also a great season that, once u watch, your set on understanding the other seasons. Has Best villain other than Reverse Flash! Zoom is great!

Felt a bit repetitive (spoiler alert)  beepbambop  3 star

Though I liked zoom as a villain, and I liked the way they defeated him, I thought the plot was repetitive. Season 1: Barry fights a speedster who is responsible for making Barry fight metas, who is also someone he trusts. In their first few encounters, the evil speedster defeats them, but then in the season finale, Barry finally defeats them Season 2: Barry fights a speedster who is responsible for making Barry fight metas, who is also someone he trusts. In their first few encounters, the evil speedster defeats them, but then in the season finale, Barry finally defeats them

Awesomely done......Terrific 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻  BobbiJo$  5 star

This is a must for anyone. I watched all seasons that are out and I loved every bit of it. I loved every crossover. The one with Arrow and Supergirl. I think they should do a crossover with just Flash and DC Legends. This was very well put together. The actors did excellent. Barry was superior. Loved him. Would recommend to all.

Drifting Here
Season 2 goes strong  Drifting Here  4 star

I had a lot of fun this season but the looming threat of "Zoom is coming" got repetitive and annoying. I loved the Legends crossover, that was by far the high point of the series for me. The plot twists were easy to see after season one's go round, I had it pegged before the mid season break, but that was the only low point for me.

The Flash Has done it again!  JackInfinity203  5 star

The Previous Flash season was awesome and the epicness comes more often in Season 2!...I love Flash Season 2 better than Flash Season 1! Grant Gustin and all of the recurring cast had made the show #1 again! This is my favorite show besides Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow! I really liked Zoom a lot better than Reverse Flash because Zoom beats Flash in all of the episodes except the finale and he's more terrifying. I'm sad that we have to wait another 6 months for Flash Season 3 to come on. Can't wait for Season 3 of The Flash the new best show ever!

THE FLASH!!!<3  💜chainsmokers💜  5 star

Hands down, the BEST show I have every watched. I love The Flash. Very good actors, AWESOME plot, and overall fantastic show! I have watched the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd seasons already, and I cannot wait for more seasons to come! I am officially addicted to the Flash. (I have also started watching The Arrow and Supergirl. They are both very good also, but not as good as The Flash.)

I don't know if the writers and actors can beat this season. The Villain ZOOM was so evil and just awesome!! The creation of the multi-universe in this season was awesome!! Super acting and story telling. - ADAMOLOGY

Season 2 Netflix plz!?!  Hshahzhzhahx  5 star

I love season 1 it's so good I really recommend this awesome show and please put season 2 on Netflix I really want to watch it

READ!!!!!  Moneyloader  5 star

If u want to watch the full season buy all the episodes at once it is Way less money than buying them at separate times.

Waiting for the Blu Ray  Ilerya82  1 star

I think it's unfair that on this, and Arrow, the Canadian fans get ripped off. You film MOST of this show here in BC, yet you charge us at least $10 more for a season than the US iTunes store with LESS PRODUCT! I've seen the US Store, they get deleted scenes and all kinds of extras with their Season Passes. We get maybe an interview and a trailer. They get at least one extra per episode!!!! I don't know if this is the CW's doing (assuming yes) or what, but hey, I expect this from the network that doesn't give fans ANY WAY to leave feedback ANYWHERE. If I buy this, it will be the Blu Ray because they go on sale AND they give me deleted scenes and fun stuff with it. This is bull, and you know it.

So much fun to follow  LakeA44  5 star

Plot is not as predictable as you’d think, character development is good, acting is great. Typical superhero fun!

Cross over episode part two (Arrow Episode 8)  JP_MAC  4 star

Hello, I would expect the Flash "Season Pass" to show part two of the cross over episode (Arrow Episode 8) for free? Is this not the case? The Flash did not air last week so I was expecting to see two new episodes this week, part 1 (Flash) and part 2 (Arrow). However, part two (Arrow part) did not show up in iTunes at 4AM the day following the broadcast as it usually does.

Awesome  Reco2003  5 star

So, where's episode 17 & 18? If there's an issue a little communication would be helpful otherwise some might think its incompetance. Dont have 17 & 18 for Arrow either but new episodes of Legends of Tomorrow are coming through.

Slow slow slow Itunes  *So-Chic*  2 star

Great season. But I'm waiting for episode 17. It's normally available on a Thursday morning to download, it's now Sunday and it's still not available. What's going on?? It would be quicker going back to Bali to get the rest of the season.

SLAYYYY!!😍😍  ayvaaa  5 star

Season 2 is flipping amazing!! The Flash is my favourite show and season 2 doesn’t disappoint!!

Flashed off  68BIGMAN  5 star

Bought the season pass to keep in front of Fox 8. What a wast of money not only is Fox two episodes in front Apple tells me that Legends of today pt1 and tomorrow pt2 are seperate episodes so they are listed as Ep.8 and Ep.9 Ep.9 should be running to stand still and where is ep.10 Potential Energy and Ep.11 The Reverse Flash Returns. So show 5 STARS. APPLE None.

Excellent  Eliza_Doolittle  5 star

Excellent series. You won't be disappointed.

Episode 9  henryturtle  5 star

I love this show and i am aware that there are crossovers but where is episode 9? in the first season there were crossovers but the series didn’t skip episode numbers.

great price for such a great show  ⭐️😁💼😁⭐️💼f  5 star

i hate this show never watch it even though its great show i love it stinks

Guys it's $2 an episode, $3 for HD.  tharealgreg  5 star

I don't understand what is going on here, and it makes me scared for humanity. The price has been $2 an episode for literally forever, if it is $40 for the season, it must mean there are at least 20 episodes. Game of Thrones should not, and will not, be as expensive, because it is usually only 10 or so episodes. The only ludacris going on here is you cheap fools wasting time posting about the $20 increase.

As good as season 1 and getting better  Vega795  4 star

The first couple of ep.'s were just ok then it jumped a lvl or 10 and got real good real fast. I see people whinging about the price but with the addition of the Vixen origen story cartoons I say it is worth it. The actors from Flash and Arrow lend their voices to their cartoon likeness to help tell the begining story of Vixen a woman with an astounding magical connection to the animal world. I never really got into her in the comics but I remember her a bit from Justice Leauge Unlimited. This new incarnation of her makes me wish I had payed attention to her in the comics. I hope it really takes off and does well! As For the Flash... Like I said this season has not disapointed so far and we are only up to the Xmass mid season ep with Cap Cold, Trickster and Wether Wizard. Can't wait to see the rest of the season!

50$$$$$$$$$  Ajz11  5 star

50$ really i know its coming to net-flicks in April so do not worry

The price makes sense.  InsaneFletch  5 star

Guys, the series is awesome. The reason this is so expensive (and everyone here was too lazy to note) if you click on details, you see that you're getting the entire second season, special features, and the entire Vixen mini series. Yea that's worth the extra cash.

Blinkuldhc 1
$50 is not for "pre-orders"; it's for owning new episodes as they air  Blinkuldhc 1  5 star

It's $40 for the complete season (which is reasonable, as it's $1.72 per HD episode). The extra $10 is to download each new episode as it airs, which is targeted to people who don't have cable or TV and don't pirate. That means it's 43 cents for each new episode to get downloaded automatically to your iTunes the same day it airs.

I love the flash but...  Wkdqtjzyvduidybcr  1 star

I watch the flash every Tuesday And all but for 50$ is to much I it was 30$ I would buy it. If you want to see flash episodes for free go to {}

Scientificcc  Misqigen  3 star

The Flash season 2 is ok show but I think this show would be a lot more funner if it had more tv-14 episodes one that contain teen violence teen sexual content & teen language. I m sorry if I make this sound to much but I am a preteen and more use more violent shows. If this season can not get as violent as the arrow then it could at least be like episode 9 of season one or 15.

The thing wrong is
Price=👎🏼  The thing wrong is  3 star

Last week it was only $40 and know it's $50 what the heck happened? I was planning on buying it then the price went higher

Cost?????  Blue924  5 star

Show is great but c'mon greedy people. $50.00????? Get a grip.
