Tired Formula, same “characters"I’ve been watching The Bachelor since it premiered 20 seasons ago, and I think I am officially not going to watch the rest of this season. It has occurred to me that the episodes progress each season in exactly the same way, and that the women vying for the Bachelor’s attention are characters whom the producers have strategically selected for their entertainment value. The “crazy” ones are not so entertaining to me anymore, as I can see through why they’re there, and am annoyed that the whole thing is as formulaic and contrived as it is. I wish they would fire all the producers on the show, hire a new slew of creative ones who have NEVER seen the show, and get a FRESH take on how to present this process to the audience. I am not going to download anymore episodes until the finale, at which time I’ll tune in just to see if the guy found true love. I think America wants more realism, and less phoniness. I think we would all just love to see a nice guy like this really truly develop a genuine relationship with a woman, and to fall in love..Score: 2/5

Bad Bachelor track record and exploitiveI used to watch Bachelor and Bachelorette religiously. But none of the couples ever stay together, so I can't get excited about short-term romance. It's completely fake, and just a platform for young actors and actresses to get screen-time. Plus, after watching the amazing show "Unreal," it's painful to realize that everyone on Bachelor is sleep-deprived, intoxicated, and manipulated by producers. If there was an ethical show with real people (not actors) that really worked with long-term romantic commitment, I'd watch that..Score: 1/5

Where's the Finale???Okay, seriously iTunes!! This happens every single time a reality TV show has the finale 😡 it's NEVER available on time!! And then the show we've paid for & watched all season gets ruined!!! With social media and the people talking about the outcome before we even get the chance to watch it for ourselves!!!
