“Bates Motel,” a contemporary prequel to the genre-defining film Psycho, will return with Norman’s continued downward spiral and the effect it has on the family. This season Norma becomes increasingly fearful and desperate, going to great lengths to find Norman the professional help he needs. This further complicates their once unbreakable trust while Norman struggles to maintain his grip on reality. Sheriff Romero (Nestor Carbonell) once again finds himself drawn back into Norma and Norman’s lives. Will things finally heat up between Norma and the other man in her life, Sheriff Romero, and just how much further will he go to protect her?

They're killing itVera farmiga and Freddie Highmore both deserve Golden Globes for their dinner scene in the episode Unfaithful. Obsessed with this show. Ive had Psycho on loop in between episodes. So pleasant to look at Vera farmiga and when Freddie Highmore gets angry it's like a lion come out of a lamb..Score: 5/5
Love this showBeen watching since season one, season 4 is just as strong as all the others. Watching Norman act out as Norma is something special, what a great actor this Freddie Highmore is, as is everyone on this show. Why this show has not won any awards in beyond me. Highly recommend to all Psycho fans as well as anyone who is not familiar but likes mystery, suspense drama, and even a little comedy..Score: 5/5
