Finally!I fell in love with Lucha Underground late last year and have been waiting for El Rey to make it available online somewhere so I could catch it from the beginning. I have always been against spending money on a television show but I had no reservations on buying this as soon as I saw it was available so I could watch it all in HD. This isnât just a "wrestling showâ like something you would find on WWE. Itâs a well written television show with amazing production values that just so happens to take place in a universe where wrestling bouts are used to settle grudges and it is my favorite thing on TV at the moment. I have shown Lucha Underground to many of my friends and family who think wrestling is fake and for kids and they have absolutely loved it. Lucha Underground doesnât pretend to be real or something itâs not. There are actual dragons and spacemen and teleporting undead luchadors wrestling and I love every bit of it! I am so excited to take this journey into the first season of Lucha Underground and implore everyone who sees this to give LU a chance and show the world your love for it so we can get a third season..Score: 5/5
A long time comingIâve heard the hype around Lucha Underground for over a year, but I canât get the El Rey Network through Verizon. So when I learned last week that itâs finally reached somewhere I can view it, I went and bought the entire first season. Once Iâm done watching it (itâs been about a week and Iâve seen 14 of the 39 episodes), I plan to buy Season 2. Not only is it a very good wrestling show, itâs the flat-out coolest wrestling show on TV in how itâs presented. The story-telling has been quite strong so far, as well as cinematic in a way nothing else is, and a lot of the matches have been fantastic, featuring some of the coolest (and coolest-looking) characters around.
