Brilliantly Realized/Hungry for More! SPOILER ALERTThe original movie - by contrast - is unwatchable. HBO has done yet another remarkable TV show. What a Great ShowI had high hopes for the show from the start. I didn't get to see the original movie this series was based off of until after the show had started but I was familiar with the plot of the movie so I understood the concept of the show, and I was excited to watch it. As the show progressed I got more and more intreged and captivated, some of the ideas and ways they attempted to convey those ideas confused me, but as time went on I would catch up and eventually figure out more and more of the confusing bits. Its a great show, very well made, directed, and love the complex plots, male and female nudity, we are looking forward to many many more seasons to buy..Score: 5/5
In my top ten of all time.Up there with The Wire, Breaking Bad, BCS, BSG, GOT, and The Sopranos. This amazing, and timely show is incredibly complex and requires the viewer's absolute and undivided attention. Silence you phone, put down your PadPod, etc., and watch it on a big screen. Watch, listen; pay attention. There's a lot going on. A lot of subtext that will be missed if you are impatient or easily distracted. Not a show for children, chronophobes, gymnophobes, puritans, nor the nervous. I hope season two is as great. A high mark has been set..Score: 5/5
