- Episode List is inaccurate3 star

Cross-referencing this with the wikipedia article on the entire series, many episodes are out of order, many are listed under incorrect seasons, and some episodes are outright missing. Whoever put this collection together should re-sort them to be correct, and add the missing episodes. I don't want to buy an incomplete set.

- Worth it5 star

The later seasons look HD to me. What’s with all the hate.

- About HD5 star

Seasons 1 - 5 were not made in 16:9 format and cannot even be bought in an HD version individually. Seasons 6 - 10 are all included in HD in this box set.

- Love Love Love It!5 star

I don't care if it's in SD or in HD. I love this show and look forward to watching it wherever I am. I'm a fan from the first episode to the last. So glad I watched it when it was new on TV.

- Great deal5 star

This is a great deal 49.99 is not bad on amazon this box set is 149.99. I see a lot reviews complaining that not HD well this cartoon out before HD was possible.

Feel ripped off. No SD warning during a purchase process. No obvious way of knowing that this purchase was SD only. Feels like a class action waiting to happen.

- SD quality is FINE, includes the 4 movies (Season 6)5 star

Five star series, I was surprised it was the best price on iTunes compared to VUDU or Google Play Movies, could be on sale? I have some on DVD aleady, but not everything. As I recall, this show originally came out in SD quality and has yet to be on BluRay, I am fine with the SD for the price, I'm used to the DVD quality for this show anyway, same for The Simpsons. It's only sold as SD on other Movie stores, too. I'm just very glad they did not crop the older episodes to fit wider screens and kept the original screen ratio. Also, there are NO missing episodes, Season 6 was originally done as four 1.5 hour movies, then chopped up for a full season, iTunes is selling the movie versions not the chopped up versions, everything is here!

- Sure it's SD, but the SD is sooo good I was blown away5 star

TL:DR on bottom. Look, I am someone who when I watch something, I want it to be the highest quality it can be. From watching content on a disk, to watching it on YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, etc. I can always tell a difference between SD, 720p, 1080p, and 4k. So, when I first saw this complete series of one of my favorite shows, I did not buy it originally because it is all in SD. But I miss Futurama, and watching it on Hulu does not cut it for me (especially how they cut the movies into episodes, eww), so I bought it, and the quality of the later season's SD content surprised me. Sure, I first started to watch it on my phone, but was amazed of how good it looked that I went to my laptop and booted up an episode. It still looked amazing for non-HD content, so I check the file size and each episode in the SD years are the same size as in the HD years. This means, that for the first time since I got an HDTV, SD has not bothered me at all. Now, would I have liked an option that has seasons 6-10 in HD? Of course, and I would have bought that one in a heartbeat. But for $25, I repeat $25, this is a no brainer for anyone who loves this show. That being said, why on earth does this just dump every episode under Futurama, and not categorize them by seasons? Seriously, it is horrible. TL:DR The SD looks way better than it should, and for $25 it is a steal.

- Based off of old sit coms and scifi shows from the 1900's eara.3 star

I enjoy watching classic shows and this was a favorite growing up. As an adult now I can see most of this series is based off of several complications of different telivision shows from the 1950's (cough Twilight series) and a collection of hauge pauge scifi shows from 1950's up to the early 2000's. While it's unique in it self it's obvious it's plagorized off of several different sifi shows thorugh out the 1900 era. I watch a lot of tv and see through it. 13 years of air time is a long time for a cartoon. I'm glad they got a license to finish it more throughouly. Even though several of the last seaons episodes are unwatchable at best.

- Missing Favorite Episodes2 star

The price when purchased was somewhat worth dealing with SD quality. However the number of episodes missing is stunning and honestly unacceptable?! Having started looking at episode counts for each of the lone seasons available on iTunes, they’re also missing the episodes I’m looking for. Do yourself a favor: just invest in a Hulu subscription instead, stream ALL the episodes + more shows besides.

- Love this Show5 star

I never give five stars but this show deserves it! It’s a great show and I love to watch it. Thank you.

- Once this is all HD, you can take my money2 star

Bought and retunred once I realized it was all SD. Dunno what the hold up is, but I recently saw that the M*A*S*H series from 1972 is now in HD. I hope I don't have to wait a million years like Fry did.

- Don’t listen to the SD comments5 star

This series is really good. Honestly the quality and audio is largely sufficient. The complete series for 25$ is unbeatable. This also includes the 4 movies. If you’re a Futurama fan who uses Mac or iPad buy it! Greatest series of all time!

- Amazing Show5 star

Easily in my top Ten

- Season 1-5 SD and 6-7 HD5 star

This is the PERFECT deal for one of my favorite shows. I always enjoyed FuturaMa a lot more than The Simpsons and after watching them again, i still do. I see people complaining saying this is SD only and thats not true at all. The show was cancelled after Season 5. When they brought it back many years after, then those shows were the ones updated to HD.

- Would buy if HD1 star

The Sd quality is unacceptable

- Complete crap1 star

Not worth your time

- SD???? Why1 star

Great series. But it really should include the HD versions of the later seasons that are available elsewhere on iTunes.

- SD Only!!1 star

The show is fantastic, but it's infuriating that it's only offered in SD!

- Great show unacceptable quality2 star

Many episodes/ seasons have visual quality issues, please update

- Great show but garbage as quality5 star

The show is amazing but the video quality is absolutely garbage

- Bender is great!5 star

I Love Futurama!

- Love this show5 star

I love this show so much

- SD boxset should get free HD upgrade1 star

Here's hoping that iTunes does the right thing and upgrades everyone who bought this crappy SD set to HD when this is eventually re-packaged. It's 2018, nobody buys SD anymore, and the consumer has a trust in iTunes now that you're default selling HD, as you try to usher everyone to the next level 4K. Please do the right thing, iTunes, and upgrade everyone for free when you eventually re-brand this.

- Quality5 star

Looks really good on the new iPhone, I am using the iPhone XR and the picture quality looks great on the later episodes of the show and the older episodes as well.

- Awesome. Really glad I bought this.5 star

I’m not sure if they have or not, but the people at Fox or whatever should release a Futurama album that features all the songs from the show.

- Does not include hd version of latter seasons1 star

I would not buy this box set while it still only contains the sd version of the later seasons. Apple—please offer a hybrid season with the HD versions of the episodes that offer them.

- No HD1 star

How are you going to sell a complete series and not have it in HD

- Out of this world.5 star

Good news everyone!!! This show is so good that it’s worth purchasing every episode to watch over and over. The great thing about this show is you will constantly find great new jokes no matter how many times you watch them. So ALL ABOARD THE PARTY SHIP and get ready to blast off into Futurama!!

- Never gets old!5 star

I’ve been watching (read re-watching) this show for almost 20 years and it still makes me laugh!

- Great show, garbage video quality1 star

i bought this recently when it was on sale and didn't realise the ENTIRE SERIES IS IN SD. terribly scaled SD. i feel *SO* ripped off. i love the show but i'm so angry at Apple for selling me a garbage quality version of it.

- help5 star

how come it says it only has 128 episodes when it has 140? great show, but i’m confused.

- Love it!5 star

One of the best show ever! I can watch it again and again!

I love Futurama and had to buy the complete series when it was available. Although I did read some comments about low image quality on some episodes, I was okay with that. Especially the early ones. However. there are some episodes with horrible audio quality. Half way through an episode, the audio quality would drop and the voices are just distorted. Worth if you do not care about quality. Futurama 9/10

- Better than Rick & Morty!5 star

One of the greatest shows ever made, animated or otherwise! It deserves its place in history along side Avatar the Last Airbender and the Sopranos

- Futurama gives me life5 star

there’s a website, so easy to use, no annoying ads & it is called pixa.club they have futurama & it’s in order on there

- SD Only1 star

Love how if you’re buying the seasons individually, HD and SD are the same price. Despite this, apparently seasons 6-10 of the Complete Series are SD.

- Missing Episodes1 star

I recently purchased the complete series of Futurama because of a great deal it offered. I however realize that was a mistake. I noticed that there were extra seasons listed, but less episodes. I then Googled the number of episodes the series had. Apple only has 128 of 140 episodes created. I wish to know why in purchasing the "complete series" after the show stopped airing for the second time, episodes are missing. They are missing from a season in the middle so you can't tell me it was because I purchased the entire series at the time. Please fix your formatting to help make it easier to find episodes or just add the episodes. I hope you will get back to me soon and resolve this problem. Thank you.

- AMAZING!!!5 star

This show is just great plus The Simpsons! Matt Groening HAS to bring it back again!!

- SD? Really?1 star

Love the show but don’t like the SD swap for the later seasons that are in HD. Come on iTunes! I was ready to purchase this until I saw the reviews.

- Amazing price for an Amazing animated show.5 star

The writers are clearly fans of tv. Lots of pop culture reference from Disney animation to BBC Nature. This complete set has ALL 128 episodes for $29.99. That’s .23¢/Ep. SOLD! Happy New Years! 3000.

- Still Dumbfounded5 star

I have watched it 1000 times and I still find hidden jokes! Best Animated Series of ALL TIME!

- Who buys SD quality anymore?1 star

I almost got suckered into buying this. I’m glad I found out Apple’s scheme to hide this SD version of this awesome tv series by boxing it up as a single, low-cost Christmas special. The more people reject SD content, the less Apple will push it on us.

- SD quality 🤨1 star

If this was created and rendered in HD that means they’d have to go the extra step and take more time to render this out at a lower quality. Also, why lock the stream and download at this quality if the HD quality exists? Waste of everyone’s time smh

- seasons 6-10 no HD?!2 star

I would buy this set...but seasons 6-10 are not in HD. WHY?! I really only want this for season 6 (the four feature tv movies) because iTunes sells them for 19.99 PER EPISODE individually. I already own all the other seasons and it would be very nice if season 6 were sold at a reasonable price in HD. But until that happens I suppose we’ll continue to steal.

- This is an incredible deal! (though SD only?)5 star

Be warned: this set of videos appears to include only the Standard Definition versions of all episodes and movies. That said, this is a terrific price (at the time I wrote this it was available in the US for $29.99). It would normally cost around $100 or more to get every episode of Futurama. Note also that, in this collection, "Season 6" consists of the original 4, ~90 minute movies, as opposed to the 16, ~22 minute episodes sometimes found elsewhere.

- Amazing show!5 star

This a great show and an AMAZING deal! To have all seasons AND movies in one purchase for $50...you can’t beat that!

- Katy Morrow5 star

It’s awesome it’s the same animation is the Simpsons so what’s the big deal

- Fantastic5 star

I cannot say how many times I have seen this series, but it never gets old. The writing is great, characters are hilarious and the themes are great. While I like the Simpsons, it is something I do not really watch. This show I feel can appeal to Simpson’s fans, but also those who are looking for something much different from Simpsons as well. I love this show and highly recommend it.

gpsc77777 - Best show ever5 star

Such a underrated show. Sad to see it cancelled 3x

speedviolin - 29$4 star

At 29$ i would buy it !

QuikSilver 🇨🇦🏂 - You can’t not love Futurama5 star

It’s hilarious and worth every penny not only the complete tv series but also the 4 movies too also available. I keep re watching these you always get a laugh and can escape to a futuristic world.

shadowgreen - Season Six Notice1 star

This store item is the only way to purchase season 6 of Futurama. Via iTunes, I have bought every season of Futurama except season 6. Now, I am required to pay full price for every season again just to get season 6 included with this item. I contacted Apple support about this and there was nothing they could do

Lumcurl - Not in HD.1 star

This series is only 2 decades old. Why is it being released in SD? Save your money and wait for the HD release. Stop supporting Hollywood’s greedfest by purchasing lazy digital releases of old series that have already made money for their owners.

ABS Reviwer - Complete Futurama5 star

All of Futurama in one purchase! Quality is standard, not high def., but for the price is definitely worth it!

BaileyZCrawly - Great Value for the Price5 star

I mean, it’s only SD but you get everything a heck of a lot cheaper buying it this way than you would individually!

angry_roller - Waste of $$$1 star

Don’t waste your money. The DVD box set is cheaper and better quality.

OliB04 - Why $1001 star

This used to be $50. Was about to buy it as-well. Any reason for suddenly doubling the price??

Rab2010 - No HD????1 star

Seasons 6-10 should be made available in HD as made available in the individual Season purchases. What’s the point?? Apple, please fix this...

MrBigDavid - Very satisfied.5 star

I bought this for $50 and although the first 5 Seasons were Standard Definition and very blurry and choppy. (Can’t do much about that) the first episode of season 5 is very clear and very smooth! It was a steal! Very happy with this purchase!

bad robot2168 - Arrr5 star

Alexandra. J - No HD?1 star

I have to agree with the other reviews – awesome to have this in a bundle, but no HD for the later seasons (when there available for purchase on iTunes).

Damosolo - No HD1 star

Agree with other review. While it’s awesome to have every episode of this incredible series, it’s frustrating that I can’t download the latter seasons in HD.. even when they’re on iTunes in HD as standalone episodes!

Jeff A. - Bundle is not HD1 star

This complete series bundle does not provide HD for seasons 6-10 even though they are available on iTunes as a seperate purchase. I contacted iTunes support who was not helpful and just came back with an “it is what it is” attitude. I have asked for a refund.

I love the show. I’ve seen every episode. I wish it could be cheaper Also in HD

Lee Hawkins - Quality not as bad as people are saying5 star

So I bought this for £40 on offer because I love the show. I was already watching is on Amazon Prime. Only got as far as Season 2 but the version on Amazon is pretty much the same quality as this here. It might be 5% better, but you really can’t tell. Obviously I want this to be upgraded to the highest quality possible, but this version is pretty good, and I am a quality snob. I have a big TV, so maybe there is some upscale going on, but so what? If you like owning stuff digitally instead of having hundreds of discs lying around then this is well worth the money. And if you are watching on a phone or iPad you won’t notice any quality loss. I’m not sure why there is so much bad feeling towards this release, but I suspect a lot are written by people who have not actually bought it, they just read the specs.

Pete>F - stop complaining about quality5 star

This show started off in SD and that is what you are getting; it’s still watchable. The rest are in HD so you should be ok with that. Got the most part it’s funny and 30 quid is a bargain

JB THE LEGEND OF MANY - Be very careful!!1 star

Despite being referred to as HD, this is not in HD. The early series of this collection are very pixelated and not easy to watch. Apple will also likely refuse a refund, despite mis-selling as HD. Great show by the way, just poor quality file.

old man and the sea - Not in HD!1 star

What planet are you iTunes guys on? Not in HD - forget it!

mick77897 - 😀4 star

Great tv series with some amazing episodes and some and some not so great ones just wish they would release the simpsons on I tunes now

Billy Lingard - Great show great price5 star

Can’t beat 29.99 for 10 seasons of one of the best shows on tv. Wish people would stop complaining about SD life did exist before HD.

Yawenaj - HD ffs1 star

Love Futurama but can't see anyone paying £59.99 for this when it's in SD. Why is ANYTHING being uploaded to the store in only SD in 2018? Utterly ridiculous. iTunes should block publishers from doing this because it's so frustrating to finally see a show added to the store but then find it's only available in fuzzy SD quality.

Nemo firefly - do not buy this rubbish1 star

Dear Apple, you are the worst kind of humans, you have stolen my money by selling me something that was not advertised correctly, if you had clearly labelled this serires as SD standard definition, then not one person would have bought this. it is completely unwatchable, please give me my money back or provide the HD high definition version. apple and itunes is a discrace and nothing more than a money making scam.

TeddyPoppins - OMG! The video quality is awful1 star

Why is the video quality so bad? The colour changes and blurriness. Don’t buy this. This needs to be addressed. It’s OK putting this on sale at £29, but if the quality is awful then it’s not a bargain at all. Ugh. Forget it.

Mark Learey - Futurama - antiquated format1 star

Later season s of the show were made in HD, as were the feature length shows. Why was the boxset promoted as HD but supplied entirely in SD? No answer from Apple. Why are the later HD seasons not supplied in HD? It makes no sense to downres to SD versions. Does anybody actually want an SD version of their favourite HD show? This boxset therefore needs updating accordingly. Either that, or it was realeased in an obsolete format.

PurityControl - Quality show, awful quality from iTunes2 star

I wish I’d read the reviews first. £29.99 is a bargain, as it usually seems to be £59.99, but the video quality is terrible, almost unwatchable for the first 4 seasons. Hopefully this will get addressed at some point.

Old~Smokey - Not HD5 star

...But at the temporary price of £29.99 this is a hell of a bargain. eBay and Amazon still charge a high sum for the complete (non HD) series. Although this does NOT include extras like the dvd box set - which is a bummer. I’ve been waiting for a price drop for this and now they did it, iTunes have made up for all their crappy-rip offs in the past.

MyPetFrogUK - SD? Are you kidding me?!1 star

J_marshall1967 - A jolly good laugh.5 star

Loved the show to bit. Just hated character of zoidberg. Im glad i got complete collection at fair price as you cant buy the complete DVDs for that price. Dont matter its only SD as show wasnt made in HD so dunno why every one complains so much. Its never true HD when things are converted as shows were not filmed in it

Mr&MrsParsons - Stop taking the p***1 star

iTunes and Apple you are so greedy. Why do you charge so much for this?

IT45. - HD Please Thank You 🙂👍🏻1 star

HD Please Thank You 🙂👍🏻

Retro Pietro - HD Please1 star

iTunes is promoting this box set as HD in the banner ad within the TV shows section of iTunes. The later episodes should really be in HD as they are when purchased individually :/

TJBacon - Not in HD1 star

Have contacted iTunes to say that their banner advert is incorrect. No reply.

Tony Davenport - Not in HD1 star

Demanding a refund! Seriously? SD only? From looking at the reviews it seems I am not the only disgruntled person.

skrawg - Should include HD versions1 star
