Cormoran Strike is a war veteran turned private detective operating out of a tiny office in London's Denmark Street. Though he's wounded both physically and psychologically, Strike's unique insight and his background as an SIB Investigator prove crucial in unravelling three complex cases, which the police seem unable to solve. Robin Ellacott begins as a temporary secretary, managing Strike's chaotic life but she soon becomes involved with his caseload and begins to see her true potential.

ExcellentOne of the most engaging series I've seen in a long time. At first the main (male) character's personality turned me of. But stay with it; you'll grow more fond of him as does the main female lead. plots are refreshingly modern with a gritty rock 'n roll element. LOVE, LOVE, LOVEI binge-watched the entire 4 seasons (11 episodes) of CB Strike on a free trial of HBO MAX. I’m a huge fan of Robert Galbraith’s Cormoran Strike books and the tv shows an awesome enhancement to the stories. My hope is that book 5 and season 5, Troubled Blood, is currently in the works. Amazing recreation of my favorite detective seriesI don’t know what impresses me more, Rowling’s ability to vividly bring this immersive world to life, or the show-runners’ ability to bring all that life so perfectly to the screen. The books and the shows compliment each other so well. They constantly reawaken my need to jump from one medium to the other, returning to Cormoran’s and Robin’s lives again and again, just to see how they’re doing.
