Set in a near futuristic world following an alien invasion that conquers Earth and pits mankind against one another, "Colony" tells the story of former Army Intelligence Officer Will Sullivan, his wife Katie, their family and their journey to survive in a new world order, which includes finding their way back to each other.
Colony is a naturalistic drama about a family that's torn by opposing forces and makes difficult decisions as its members balance staying together with surviving the struggle of the human race. Set in the near future, the story takes place in Los Angeles, which exists in a state of occupation by a force of outside intruders. Some people choose to collaborate with the authorities and benefit from the new order, while others rebel and suffer the consequences. Josh Holloway stars in Colony as Will Bowman a former FBI agent who — in a bid to protect his family — is forced to collaborate with the occupational government to bring down the growing resistance movement inside the L.A. colony. Sarah Wayne Callies co-stars as Katie Bowman, Will's wife and a mother of three who struggles daily to keep her family safe and united in an occupied Los Angeles.

The BEST. SEASON. BY. FAR. Guaranteed 👍👍I’ve watched (& owned every episode) since the first episode, religiously, & while I’ve always enjoyed it, there were always some lingering questions or little issues I had; that IS NOT THE CASE FOR THE 3RD SEASON IN ANY WAY. This review is “late;” however, it is NOT due to any issue I had w/ the series/season; rather, I had to miss the latter half of this season until yesterday (& today) due to a major leg surgery. If you’ve watched the series before; you’ll love the addition of Wayne Brady (ie, Let’s Make a Deal) & the increase in human (compared to robot) roles. If you haven’t seen the series yet, this season will surely grip your interest to return to the first two seasons. I CAN’T WAIT FOR SEASON 4.Score: 5/5

We are in the era of FireflyCancelling shows used to be more an exception than a rule, in my memory. But, since the cancellation of Firefly back in the day, the trend has changed. So many good shows just get chopped. Colony is another casualty to this trend. Colony is excellent, and worth watching, but anticipate being disappointed when you find yourself wanting more at the end of season 3! Colony, you will be missed..Score: 5/5
