- Best Show Ever5 star

Simply the best show ever.... but of course it would be with the incredible acting talent of Elisabeth Moss as June/Offred!

- Love or hate5 star

From what I can see, you either love the series or you hate it, I didn’t think I would like the series at all and watched it b/c I was bored, now it’s one of my top favorite series to watch. No there isn’t a lot of action but there is so much more , passion and emotion and the way the characters interact. I don’t know if the 3rd season will be the last, but I do hope June gets her happy ending.

- Loved Season 2 Morse than season 1!5 star

I don’t know why others are hating the second season, I personally enjoyed the second season more than the first! Definitely keeps the members of the audience on its toes with the ups and downs! That’s for sure! Intriguing and the acting is SO OUTSTANDING! Truly!

- Entertaining propaganda2 star

While these dystopian shows are entertaining they are also complete propaganda. Of course religious people are always portrayed as the lunatics,. America which is the best and most free country in the world to live ,is portrayed as a facist bleak nightmare where women and gays are severely oppressed. And of course Canada is the safe haeven, please. It definitely fits into the current political agenda and that makes this show pretty ridiculous.

- No.1 star

Just no.

- Just imagine5 star

I imagine how as a country something so crazy like could happen

- Don’t watch this.1 star

This is just a bunch of liberal propaganda being shoved in our faces again. It’s foolish how people keep making this sort of stuff again and again and try to get people to vote Democrat. But other than the political nonsense in the show, the overall story was pretty bad. Please don’t waste your money on this garbage.

LOVE THIS SHOW

- Incredibly Powerful Show!5 star

While a bit intense and even disturbing at times, this is a must-see show. The story is gripping and the production is exceptional!

- Best drama of the decade5 star

The acting is excellent, as is the story. I could not recommend it more.

Whoa!

- Tiresome2 star

Having run through the book at the end of the first season, the writers wander in circles in the 2nd. Hard to believe, but the pacing is even slower than before, and we spend an awful lot of time watching the minutes crawl by as nothing much happens, to weepy, moany music. Clearly the writers found it very difficult to come up with any new ideas. Even more than the first season, the show is an obsessive showcase for Elisabeth Moss's eye-acting in extreme close-up, and I gotta say that even though she's good at it, I was already pretty sick of her mug by the end of season 1. Also, although the PC and SJ quotients are ramped way up this season, it somehow feels less politically relevant than the first. We got the message in season 1. Now you're just being tiresome about it.

- Emmy Winning show5 star

Best show on tv Elizabeth moss is sensational 🙂

- Monstrous3 star

Second season has issues. There are parts of it that are very slow, to the point I had to skip through one episode because it was so boring. Towards the end of the season it got a little better. I will also say I am sick of these stupid close ups. I think I know every pore of June's face. With that said, the show does an excellent job of highlighting the errors and problems with the religious right. The irony is, it focuses on Christianity while making a point to pity Islam. How hypocritical can we be? There were several eye rolling moments. There are some subtle jabs, I think at regressive liberals but it is easily over shadowed by the monstorus actions of Gilead. I am still curious as to how this show will conclude itself. I just hope they dont drag it out.

- Beyond5 star

Season one was amazing and this one is even more so. The best ever. I just wanted to watch it non stop. Elizabeth Moss, beyond words phenominal!

- Best series! Cant wait for S3!!!5 star

Love Love Love Its super raw but its super good!!!!

- Not very good.2 star

I didn't get past the first season. I thouht I would like it but just very dull IMO.

- Great Drama!5 star

Both seasons as gripping and filled with drama. The episodes are directed with slow camera movements, and the action follow suit, to amplify the anxiety the characters transmit. Although some episodes may contain material that's too graphic for some, this series is not doubt a winner.

- Slow and dull2 star

After the first season which I didn’t love but enjoyed this season disappointed. The pace was so slow you needn't ever hit the pause button. I felt the commander and some plot was pulled right out of Far Cry 5. Nothing made you think, I didn’t love a character. I can’t say I’d invest in a season 3.

- Exceeds The Brilliance of Season One5 star

This season truly excels in terms of cinematography, pacing, atmosphere, plot evolution and shedding light on quite important topics, not only related to women but to abuse of power in general, and the use of religious dogma as an excuse to exert power on women, LGBT and anyone who disagrees with the government, even when the commanders themselves don’t genuinely believe in or follow the rules of the religion they claim to rule by. It’s a show that not only depicts what could happen to our societies but also depicts what’s already happening in many parts of the world that people choose to turn a blind eye to.

Friedlish - Excellente série5 star

Bien que la série soit difficile à regarder par moment, elle est excellente et vraiment plus crédible que le film sorti en 1990. Le jeu des acteurs est excellent. J’attend avec impatience la saison 3.

ketchankookem - Slow3 star

My partner loves the series. For me, basically a sedative....guaranteed slowness of each episode sends me to la la land within minutes.

This show does an amazing job at portraying the original story by Margaret Atwood. Everyone should be watching this.

Mari-sol - À voir !!! Je suis acro5 star

Vraiment bonne série ! Riche en émotions ! Je jeu des acteurs est impressionnant !

Living with RA - Amazing acting5 star

The acting is beyond amazing. For a show to have very little dialogue but pull you into feeling the emotions being emoted through the eyes is spectacular. In my opinion Moss is displaying some of the best acting from a female actress that I have ever seen. It’s quiet, dark and even scary to try and imagine. Love love this show. Nothing bad to say

STÉPHANIE MTL - Just GREAT5 star

I can hardly wait for the next episode each time...The actors are amazing, the story is captivating. Bravo!

Mixamus Maximus - Brilliant. Again.5 star

The first few episodes of season 2 were so grim and dark that I almost gave up. There's enough horror to see in the real world. Yet, the superb storytelling and stellar acting have kept me engaged for another season. Elizabeth Moss is terrific as usual; however, Yvonne Strahovski, as Moss's partner-in-crime and nemesis, is an absolute revelation. Taut, gripping and very topical, The Handmaid's Tale is not to be missed.

B. Eric - Great show4 star

Very enjoyable. Those with the Trump Derangement Syndrom will absolutely LOVE it as it caters to their hysteria. Feminists will also use this show a real facts.

David0666 - I can see this actually happening. Pence 2020....5 star

I absolutely Love this show. I Love how Canada is portrayed in this. They definitely hit the nail on the head with that. I get that Offred is the star of the show but she’s the worst. Seriously everyone she comes in contact with end up beaten, sent to the colonies, as a hand maid or killed lol. Still though I Love this show. 🙂

Great show waiting for Season 3 to become available????

Annie251 - Awesome show. Rubbish deal1 star

Price for the season pass? $35. Price to buy the episodes separately? $33. All you get extra is a couple of lousy trailers. Yet again, iTunes shoots itself in the foot trying to suck out every last dollar. The show is great though. It should be on the High School syllabus and needs to be seen by every American woman silly enough to vote Republican. Re-think your pricing policy, iTunes. You have a lot of competition these days.

dannielson - Itunes Window5 star

I just read some of the reviews it is is a easy blame for iTunes but in reality it is not thier fault if shows don't get released as quick as say dvd -blu-ray because it is the supplier who usues iTunes as a window for their product for their product to be downloaded by the customer it is in actual fact nothing to do with iTunes for a later relese date etc...it is when the supplier has the digital version ready and decides to put it on iTunes be that a tv series/ movie / music / app it is out of apple's control. Please understand a situation think before passing blame and as for Season 2 of the Handmaids Tale is brilliant and does not dissapoint.

kgeejay - Episode 10. Where is it?!1 star

Ridiculous. Waited a week for it to be released. Sbs has it already, as do other countries. Waste of money paying to watch it through itunes.

jazz jane - Brilliant, Very Relevant5 star

Brilliant series, based on a great novel. This novel was written in the 1980s. It is amazing how relevant it is now, considering in the current political situation in the USA. Women’s rights are being sent backwards. Handmaids Tale is a prophetic story about what will happen in the future if people continue in this puritanical, misogynistic direction. Women become commodities and men have all the power. Right now in the USA, women’s basic reproductive rights are being taken away. Right now, agreements are being signed to defund contraception and abortion in the USA and elsewhere. Watch this and then go out and vote!

Hammer0054 - Ep. 101 star

When is episode 10 going to be uploaded? Slow and inefficient.

bencarney_ - The Handmaid’s Tale Season 25 star

Benjawannnnnn - Amazing emotional show5 star

What an amazing thought provoking and emotional show. Great acting! I see people rating 1 star for the confusing download functionality which is totally unfair as rating is for the show itself.

TimC1983 - Even HBO Wouldn’t Charge This1 star

It’s bad enough we still don’t have a subscription option but there is no way I’m paying this. £17.99 would be the maximum though that is still a stretch to be honest. It’s not like anyone watches these things again and again. UPDATE - briefly down to £19.99 (still too expensive) and now back up to £24.99. Is this an attempt to take the mick. It’s too expensive. Drop the price.

Luke MB - It’s a scam! Outrageous 😡1 star

I bought one episode as it’s the only one I missed and I cannot download it. It’s a sham. What a shame. I cannot believe it.

JulesBRaddo - Incredible! Bring on series 35 star

Absolutely brilliant series. Gripping storyline and captivated by every episode. Equally as good as series 1 and can’t wait for season 3. A must watch!!!

the-real-thing - So glad we don’t live like this5 star

2nd series as gripping as first. The handmaidens are strong, coming together to fight for what is right without bringing it to the attention of Gideon men. Thought provoking and highly recommend.

vezna - Disappointing and ultimately boring2 star

I have found season 2 really tedious and it just fails to hold my interest. It’s a bit disappointing and has gone nowhere. I love a low key, slow drama but this really is not doing it for me. People giving one star for something that hasn’t finished airing and as such the episodes are not available yet is dumb.

barbieeeee18 - Misleading1 star

I agree with the reviews complaining about pricing and episodes not being readily available. I bought the whole season to find only epidode 1. Now... where is episode 6 ??

Amazing series

Sang FUNG - This is ridiculous! I paid for Season 2 but I only get 5 episodes!!!1 star

I paid nearly £25 for the entire Season 2. I didnt really have to buy the whole season becuase I had watched 5 episodes on BBC Channel 4, but I thought I could watch as and when I like. But, after paying £24.99 I see that there are only 5 episodes!!! It is ridiculous. It is a rip off! Does iTunes send me the rest of the Season (2)??? I am still waiitng. 23 June 2018 Update on 2r June 2018 It is 8:45 pm in France, and I still can’t see any ‘movement’ for episode 6 on iTunes! I have asked to cancel my order but not a word from iTunes. This is the biggest con in the world!

Baldydafydd - Get a life we get episodes after Uk release5 star

This is a lot better than having to wait till end of season broadcast until posted all! My grip is price should be 15£ only 10 episodes don’t think game of thrones pricing last forever or Star Trek mof! still to much! look at amazon pricing!

67spike - Great series5 star

Excellent drama. Picks up well from Series 1. As for the morons who post saying they have paid £25 for the trailers and 2 episodes... what can you say?! You have paid for the whole series, and episodes will be available for UK download after UK release. Seriously, get a grip. Nowhere does Apple say that all episodes will be available at once.

Supercasey17 - Why do people give...5 star

1 star reviews to complain about not getting all the episodes at once. You purchase the full season, but have to wait for each episode weekly. If you want to binge watch the season all in one session, wait for all the episodes to be released before you purchase. It’s incredibly annoying to see bad reviews only to discover it’s about a misunderstanding over an iTunes purchase. Grow up!

RosieFur - SUCH A WASTE OF MONEY!1 star

I have bought a season pass and there is only one episode available to download!! It's already screened on other channels - what is going on?!

Bimbs1970 - Is this a con1 star

Why is only 1 episode being displayed??? £24.99 for the Series Pass - where are all the other episodes?

tiltedbunny - Teasers?! Charged me $24 dollars for the teasers and trailers!!1 star

I’m so annoyed! Beware- you are not buying the actual episodes!! 😩😩

Nes1512 - Ridiculous1 star

I paid £24.99 for the whole season together And all I got is one episode. Every other provider you see all the episodes together. You can even watch it for free on some tv channels I’m never buying anything on iTunes. I’m furious.
