First episode made me sleepyEvery year I give the show another chance because the earlier seasons were so frequently very funny. The cherry high has never been found again and not just because of how long the show has been on the air, it just isn’t as funny. There’s always the chance that they’ll find some worthwhile episodes but at this point it’s like rooting through dog poop trying to find a quarter. The first episode was a felt more like “The Brian Show” with a pretty predictable storyline featuring some typically terrible depictions of women to rationalize some really cynical treatment of them by the main characters. I fell asleep watching it and have little interest in revisiting it to catch what I missed. I gave it two stars instead of one because I think I remember chuckling at something in the episode, even for the life of me I can’t remember what it was. Not a great start to the season. I originally had this at a two star but recently added a third. There were a couple of decent episodes and the tribute to Carrie Fisher was beautiful and funny..Score: 3/5
