The first of four vampire ELDERS has been freed (although it proves itself to be loyal to the Van Helsing clan) and legend has it that when their four TOTEMS are combined the DARK ONE will be resurrected. Now it’s a race against time as Vanessa and her ragtag group of heroes faces off against the forces of darkness. Along the way, VANESSA will unlock powerful new vampiric abilities while carefully forging the path between her own inner light and darkness. With help from AXEL and SCARLETT, she will uncover secrets passed down from her Van Helsing ancestors while facing a host of new adventures and dire situations. As they wage war on one front, other sinister threats emerge elsewhere as SAM comes to realize his own destiny, while THE SISTERHOOD gains ‘DAYWALKER’ powers and then sets its sights on the human stronghold above the clouds: DENVER.

Best Show On SYFYVan Helsing on SyFy is one of the most action packed shows I have watched on TV. The writers do an excellent job mixing up the story lines and presenting a unique twist to the usual vampire lore. All of the actors do an amazing job, but Kelly Overton and Jonathan Scarfe really stand out in their roles as Vanessa Van Helsing and Axel. I’ve enjoyed Seasons 1 and 2 and I’m currently enjoying the amazing stories in Season 3. Episode 3, I Awake, is my favorite so far. Great set pieces and scenery really do a wonderful job presenting Colonial Hong Kong and advancing the story line. Van Helsing is must watch TV!.Score: 5/5
