The fifth and final season of GOTHAM wraps up the iconic series in an unforgettable event that focuses on Bruce Wayne’s (David Mazouz) ultimate transformation into the Caped Crusader, as Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) struggles to hold together a city on the edge of chaos. Following the epic events of last season, the Legend of the Dark Knight resumes as Gotham City is divided between Gordon’s GCPD jurisdiction and some of the city’s most notorious fan-favorite villains – such as Penguin, The Riddler and more. As the city’s heroes try to gain control and salvage what’s left of the deteriorating city, it teeters between good and evil, even as new villains, including the iconic Bane (Shane West) are introduced. This is one of the best shows ever
I want to see more! They do so well on both the story and comic book adaptions.
This series is awesome
I strangely enough have never been a Batman super fan movie Lover I guess you could say! Yes I’ve enjoyed some of the Batman Movies but not in the way I absolutely Love & Enjoy Gotham it’s a brilliant concept & it’s given me a better understanding into the Batman movies allowing us viewers young or more mature to have a look into where it all began its exciting! It’s dark but yet funny & so well thought out-played & very easy to get lost in it was a slow start but a great start as well & as I got further into every episode it just got better & better that’s very hard to find in T.V series these days usually Series start out fast & furious & unfortunately start to fizzle out & lose Enjoyment & excitement along the way NOT this one! I would love to see a SEASON 6 I just personally don’t see how EVERYTHING from season one to season 5 Start to finish is supposed to in this last season wrap everything up ??!!?? then again what’s to wrap up ?? it could go on for along time All of the awesome characters-actors & storylines ends with this final season ?! Why is it that every Great show on network television gets so short lived these days ? I wish Netflix would pick it up to do a few or a couple more seasons I’m not saying Draw it out for a season 11 more seasons which I wouldn’t mind at all .. I just think Gotham has so much potential to go so so much further skies the limit there are endless possibilities & ideas to make this show continue on a bit longer! The acting in this series alone is absolutely amazing & genius starting with who ends up being commissioner Jim Gordon & his funny ride or die sidekick Harvey Bullock to Oswald Cobblepot aka Penguin, Ed Nygma aka the Riddler? Bruce Wayne Batman & Selina Kyle as Cat Girl Barbra Kean ,Joker & Scarecrow the list is endless & the story lines are brilliant I hope they continue on if not on Fox etc then Netflix 🙏🏼 to good of a show to have this be the last & final season & I agree with OJ1502 Gotham is the main character 💯 % & has become my favorite show as well & I would of never thought that would be the case but that’s what happens when a show like Gotham hits T.V who’s writers, cast , producers etc have a brilliant concept & make it come to life , it will be very DISAPPOINTING for it to end at season 5 there has to be another season ! #SaveGotham #Season6Please also if Lucifer the series that was cancelled by network T.V which is yet another brilliant funny awesome show could be saved then Gotham 10000% should be able to as well 😃 😉 😎
I’ve enjoyed every Gotham season.
This final season is not disappointing. It is a wild ride in the Gotham nightmare park. How a show can be over the top, but still have deep, solid, emotionally grounded characters is the masterpiece of the show. The characters are solid, they are real. There are very few shows that continue this strongly. Supernatural is my first choice. Gotham is my second. Great cast, great characters, great story. This is a superb ride, and has brought me back to being a Batman fan after the latest movies tried to ruin it for me. You can't go wrong watching Gotham.
Gotham is a fantastic series where it presents a time before batman and Bruce Wayne is a child, learning to be Batman, kind of. All actors bring their A game except for Mr. Freeze, no offense but how hard is it to get an ice man right in movies and series? Aside from that the show is amazingly choreographed and the cinematography is great. The show is verges on these soap opera like characters because that is how it is supposed to be. Gotham is the perfect series but season 1 and the start of season 2 were still requiring a bit more, however after that its smooth sailing for the audience. Season 4 made Gotham my favorite show and makes you connect with characters. There is no main character because Gotham is the main character, Gotham creates villain, creates heroes but most importantly, creates Batman!
I am so upset this show was canceled but I am glad they're giving it at least a half season to give us closure. However, I don't understand why it was canceled in the first place...this show is frikkin awesome!! So far, this season is amazing!!!
God damn jerimah falling into the ace is best thing that ever happened in Gotham. I think he’s so evil plus good looking. I hope to see what will happen. A must get I’m telling you🥰
Every episode has come out saturday on itunes in Australia until now, where is the consistency? Love the show but you need to step up itunes!
Gotham is easily the best live-action television series based on DC Comics, and it returns for its fifth and final season as Jim Gordon and Bruce Wayne face the chaos Gotham City has become!
Gotham is a special kind of show. Where most shows tend to dip in quality from season to season, Gotham just keeps getting better and better with meteoric leaps. (It also helps that the show has maybe my favourite live-action take/s on the Joker mythos out there) The entire cast give performances that range from okay to so good you’ll find yourself giggling in your seat with glee. David Mazous (I think that’s how it’s spelled) who plays the young Bruce Wayne is an amazing find and tackles the role in a way that most A-list adult movie stars haven’t even come close to. The way he delivers his dialogue and carries himself (particularly in the later seasons) really calls to mind Bruce from the comics: especially as he is in Patrick Gleason & Peter J. Tomasi’s Batman & Robin from the new52 (not sure if that’s an intentional connection, but just the one that comes to mind for me) Gotham city feels like a living breathing urban hell-scape that people can either be totally corrupted or totally crushed by, with only a very scarce few resilient enough to stand against it and try to fix it. And it’s a great, fun journey watching it fall further and further into the kind of chaos that can only logically create a Dark Knight to try and drown out the darkness. Great show. Can’t wait to see how it all ends.
