Just say no to buying TV series on iTunesITunes has the worst organization of TV series of all services and they donât care to fix it. You buy the entire collection and you expect that this gives you ownership of every episode - right? Well, according to Tunes - wrong. This only gives you ownership of the entire collection, whatever that means, because searching in iTunes library for any episode brings you to prompt to pay Apple for every episode. You only have one way of watching the show you paid for - to browse your library of TV shows, then browse through very very long list of all episodes until you find the episode you were looking for. Only at that screen would iTunes allow you to start playing episode. This is anti-consumer behavior that only Apple does, every other streaming service recognizes the fact that if you bought the entire collection, it means you own every episode and you are entitled to play them in order they were created..Score: 1/5
The Big Bang TheorySo, Iâm sure most of you have read the negative reviews and how people are disheartened by the way that Apple has organized the series into one long season. If you choose to watch the show from the library menu, you will immediately see the issue for yourself. Obviously annoying. However, there is hope. There is a solution for shows that have this problem, and Iâll tell you the way to fix it. If youâll notice, I said âchoose to watch from the library menu.â So when you are ready to watch the show, simply go to the âUP NEXTâ menu. From there, play the show from the first episode. From the episode stream, press DOWN on your controls, then choose âMORE INFOâ Youâre now at the Seasons screen and can choose any season you want. Iâve found that most of their shows work this way, so this should solve this issue, which at first glance appears to be permanent. This is for any of you who were either on the fence about making the purchase, or have already purchased the series and were bothered by this hindering limitation. I hope that this was found to be helpful to the discouraged..Score: 4/5

Flawed releaseUsing Apple TV 4K, âWatch Nowâ ALWAYS links to the next episode on the SEPARATE individual season, NOT the complete series. So, after purchasing, clicking to watch the next episode in Watch Now directs to the STORE PURCHASE PAGE!! I have to click through to my Library, find the show, then find the episode I was on to resume playback. NO OTHER show has this linking problem. reported to Apple and getting told this is âexpected functionalityâ, and there is no way to escalate the issue to the content publisher. Attempting to report issue to CBS is fruitless - no response on social media. only âworkaroundâ is to get a refund for this purchase, and buy all seasons separately at 3x the price..Score: 1/5
Great showI was hesitant to get this after reading some of the early reviews regarding the âwatch nextâ function not working properly, but for $49.99 I figured Iâd give it a shot. From what Iâve watched so far most the episodes play fine, the ones that I get the prompt for play fine when watching through the purple TV app on Apple TV..Score: 4/5
Watch next function errorPurchased the full season excited to see that it did in fact include bloopers and extras that come with the DVDs. As I prepared to watch the series endlessly I discovered that the next episode did not play and instead asks you to purchase the next episode. To watch the next episode you have to scroll through 100s of episodes and play each time. I did see that previous comments had stated this but were left awhile ago and figured it should have been fixed by now so I am updating that this is still an issue.
