Something missingBeing a space fan, NASA buff and proud American I’ve seen and read as much Apollo material as I could get my hands on. This series has a very pronounced political undertone. PBS chose to narrate this great American achievement from a darker place than most Americans remember it, intentionally so. Instead of focusing on the scientific value of this historical event, political viewpoints overshadow the entire series. CNN Films and Discovery did a much better job capturing the moment from a scientific perspective, especially with the recently released “lost footage”. I’m almost sorry I watched this, maybe that was their point..Score: 2/5
