Update to the update: You are all Emmy winners at our house! Quarantine Update: watched maybe 30 times? Still awesome. Forgot to mention the incredible soundtrack and guest appearances in original post. Thanks, again, everyone. It never gets old! Awesome. One of our family’s favorite seasons. We will miss everyone at Camp Redwood. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house after the last scene. If you are a horror genre fan of excellent writing, incredible performances and great directing, watch AHS 1984. You will not be disappointed. We are now looking forward to season 10!

- MS..................................................................5 star

This one is my most favorite one of all them🙂 Definitely recommend watching it 👍👍

- Not completely bad3 star

Though I think that is easily the weakest season of AHS, I also think that it still has it’s merits. Just wish I could remember what they are! As usual, there is a lot of bloodshed. This season wears it’s influences on it’s bloody sleeve, the most obvious being Friday The 13th. There are many scenes right out of that film, yet the makers of this show seem to make no apologies for it. Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters had the good sense to sit this season out. The one very good thing I can say about this season is that it actually ends on a very sweet note with one of the most touching scene of the entire series. Just wish the makers of the show can come up with something more original for season ten.

- Okay ish4 star

It was good it’s just it got weird/ cringe at the episode when his son went too the camp and left it I just found the acting a little cringe.

- Bad on purpose?1 star

Really? Was everything about this done badly on purpose? Even if this was meant as satire, it failed.

- Only 9 episodes 👎🏽1 star

Bring back the original cast, stop cutting the episodes each season. Can’t believe this show has so much potential and they just waste it away like every other show. What’s with ads on the paid version? So much BS

- Terrible1 star

Worst season yet. Only good part was when they died but seems like a season 1 rip off because they’re out of ideas. And 9 episodes? Last season was 10. Next season will be 8!

- Great season but why only 9 episodes?4 star

This was a great season but is their first shortest season yet! Use to be 13 episodes for each season then dropped to 12 then 11 ,10 now 9... guess next season will be 8 episodes...

- AHS5 star

Favorite season.

- i love the 80s5 star

omg what a great season

- Disappointed3 star

This is definitely the worst AHS season I’ve seen yet. I was really really looking forward to this one too, I’m totally for the 80’s hype and love the decade of my childhood, but this season is so boring! It was SUPER obvious from episode one how the plot was heading, at least to me- I called it quick.{or maybe that was their point? Idk} Whatever, just overly disappointed with how ridiculous the story has become and not at all intriguing like previous seasons. And where is Evan peters? Wah

- Has flaws3 star

Has its flaws, but it is looking to be my second favorite season of the show. Just a bit confusing on direction of where it’s going with everything.

- AHS has killed it’s self1 star

Season one - brilliant. Then slowly down hill. This 1984 season is an insult to ... any sort of entertainment. It’s just people cashing your checks. Sad

- Worst season yet1 star

The show is obviously on its last leg.... 💩💩💩 I actually watched up to episode 5. Dumb as hel

- Worst Season1 star

This was there worst season thus far. The acting was soooooo cheesy. They need to bring Sarah Paulson and Peter Evans back. The story line was good, just the acting was disappointing.

- Great show5 star

Love it

- AHS IS BACK!5 star

Best season since Coven! Ahs is back on track!

- ‘80’s Horror at its best!5 star

This season is really good. I love that it is not as dark as the other seasons. People think it’s a problem and makes the show bad but it is actually a good season so far and you guys should give it a watch.🤩

- Ads on a paid show1 star

Beware if you buy this there will be ads at the beginning and end of the show, on a show you paid for! I had subscribed to the season, and I was excited for it, but I will be contacting iTunes about a refund.

- Amazing5 star

Really good I’m impressed

- This show is fun and scary5 star

This is the version of AHS that we’ve been missing a really fun season with scary movie elements. The killing scenes are hilarious but yet the suspense is scary. This being AHS I expect a twist that will be great. I am still not sure Mr Jingles is the only crazy one.

- Ahs2 star

It’s ok a little cheesy bad acting ,it needs to get a lot better or I’m done

- 😳1 star

Can I get a refund? 1980’s horror flick movie except long and drawn out🤮

- Ads1 star

They’re now putting ads before and after shows you pay for. Going to watch it elsewhere from now on.

- Spooked5 star

- Awesome!5 star

I Loved the first episode. I'm a big fan of the 80's classic horror films. Hope the rest of the season is just as good as the first episode.

- TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE PREVIEW ARTWORK!!1 star

The preview poster features a screaming woman being menaced by a butcher knife. It appears on the Top TV Shows previews on my Apple TV when you scroll onto the Shows icon. What is the matter with you Apple? I don’t want to see a grotesque threat of violence against a woman on my TV, and I definitely don’t want my kids to see that. Just awful!

- Blah1 star

Another stupid season.

- Genius5 star

For horror fans, this show never disappoints. Love it.

- Really awesome5 star

If you’re fan of the classic slasher horror movies this is your best choice

- extremely underestimated5 star

you REALLY need to give this episode a chance. it was amazing

- Why is the first episode not available‽5 star

Shouldn’t this be available already?

- Premiere was amazing!5 star

One of the best opening episodes of AHS ever! Up there with Asylum and Murder House!

- Delay1 star

Would be nice if you could watch episodes as the air on television.

- AHS 1984 I’m so excited!5 star

Can’t wait for this season I love the 80’s been a fan since Coven I’ve seen all of them but this season I’m really excited for cause it takes place in the 80’s and It drawls a lot of attention to Friday the 13th kinda vibe and few other horror films anyways can’t wait for the premiere I’m so excited & pumped! #AHS1984 here we go!!!

- ???3 star
