Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2202 (Season 2) Full Episodes
It is the year 2202, three Years after the war with Gamillas, the people in the Solar System are finally at peace once again and the Earth has been restored back to life. With the end of the war, there is a peace treaty between Earth and Gamillas which will strengthen their military bond and secure true peace. In addition to the reconstruction of Earth, the joint forces form a new intergalactic defense fleet with a new ship, Andromeda, to be its new symbol of power. Due to these advancements, the Earth is going on a path of military expansion despite Starsha Iscandar's wishes of peace. But when a new threat called the Gatlantis starts to wreak havoc to a newly reformed galaxy, the Goddess Teressa calls upon the Yamato once more in order to fight back against the new threat.

Star Blazers 2202 Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love setzt die Geschichte aus Space Battleship Yamato 2199 drei Jahren nach deren Ende fort. Die Yamato und ihre Besatzung sind auf ihrem Weg vom Planeten Iskandar zurück zur Erde und in den letzten drei Jahren ist einiges geschehen. The Bewohner des Sonnensystems leben endlich wieder in Frieden und die Erde wurde mit Hilfe des »Cosmo-Reverse-Systems« wiederhergestellt und wieder bewohnbar gemacht. Der Krieg mit Garmillas ist vorbei und ein Friedensvertrag wurde geschlossen, um die militärischen Relationen zwischen den zwei Mächten zu stärken und den Frieden langfristig zu sichern. Neben dem Wiederaufbau der Erde wurde auch eine neue Verteidigungsflotte gebaut, deren Flaggschiff die hochmoderne Andromeda ist. Ein derartiger Ausbau der eigenen Verteidigungsflotte bringt natürlich auch die Expansion der militärischen Macht der Erde mit sich, und das trotz Starsha Iskandars explizitem Wunsch nach Frieden …
Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2202 - Ai no Senshi-tachi 2202, trois ans après la bataille de Gamillas, le système solaire est de nouveau en paix et la Terre a été restaurée grace au dispositif donné par Starsha Iscandar.
Un traité de paix a officialisé la fin de la guerre entre la Terre et Gamillas qui s'allie pour former une force armée intergalactique avec comme nouveau navire amiral, l'Andromeda, symbole de cette puissance militaire constituée malgré les vœux de paix de Starsha Iscandar.
Mais quand une nouvelle puissance, Gatlantis commence à faire des ravages et veut conquérir l'univers, Teressa, une femme ayant d'étonnants pouvoirs, fait de nouveau appel au cuirassé Yamato commandé par Susumu Kodai pour riposter à la nouvelle menace.

우주전함 야마토 2202: 사랑의 전사들 우주전함 야마토 시리즈의 첫번째 작품 우주전함 야마토의 리메이크판인 우주전함 야마토 2199의 후속 작품으로 우주전함 야마토 2의 리메이크작이다. 전작이 그랬듯이 7장으로 나누어서 극장 선공개를 한 뒤에 TVA 시리즈로 낼 것으로 예상된다. 시간적으로는 전작에서 3년 뒤인 2202년 을 다루고 있다. 2017년 2월 25일 제 1장 '효시편'이 처음으로 개봉하고 제 2장인 '발진편'은 6월 24일 개봉하였으며 제 3장 '순애편'은 10월 21일 공개 예정.
감독은 전작 이즈부치 유타카가 아니라 창궁의 파프너 시리즈로 유명한 하바라 노부요시. 시리즈 구성은 기동전사 건담 UC의 작가이자 하록 선장의 리메이크인 캡틴 하록의 각본을 썼던 후쿠이 하루토시가 맡게 되었다.
