Wrong decisionsSo I saw an article that this show was being canceled and for some sick reason I decided to finish the season. Like I mentioned below who ever thought it was a good idea to throw in real world stuff at a time such as a pandemic and where racism is in the spotlight the way it is right now is just beyond dumb and such a poor choice. People want an escape they don’t want to see that stuff in real life and then in their shows. Speaking of that the racism and covid were done so pathetically poorly it’s insane. The covid stuff from what I remember in the early episodes is mentioned just in the first and the racism thing is brought up maybe 4 more times. One of those times was another racist incident and one was a meeting that was less than 4 minutes then it was basically a non thing mentioned like one or 2 other times for seconds. It’s bad enough you have it in the first place but then don’t follow through it at all. I’m glad this show got canceled and I don’t know if I have ever really felt that way before. The whole thing was just so bad. Just goggle what happens and save yourself 13 hours. So season one for me was awesome and such a surprise out of left field and I couldn’t wait each week to watch the newest episode. When I heard a season two was going to happen I was so stoked. Then I watched the first episode of season 2. Starts off with Malcolm making a comment and I’m like did he reference COVID. Then a few minutes later someone flat out says COVID-19 and I was like okay so this is what they are doing. I continued to watch the episode and then out of nowhere after having these characters for a season already and nothing about racism all of a sudden it’s full blown racism. Don’t get me wrong racism is awful and needs to go away but I watch these shows as an escape to just try and relax and forget the real word for like 45 mins and the last thing I want is the real world all of a sudden just thrown into these shows to be like look we are relevant. I’m maybe 3 episodes in and have no desire to continue watching this show and it’s such an incredible letdown as the idea behind this show and the first season we’re so good..Score: 1/5
One of my favoritesThis show is so good and season 2 has been great. If you love creepy crime shows with a twist that also can be funny at times then I highly recommend this show. The acting is great, the writing is great, and each episode leaves you wanting more..Score: 5/5

Beautifully crafted and full of talentI don’t think there has ever been a show on tv like this one. This show is about family: the one you’re born with and the one you chose. I really enjoy Michael Sheen performance as The Surgeon: a serial killer and very demanding father. Payne depictions of trauma is on par and we all feel for this character that is not OK, but uses solving murder as therapy. With strong female characters and diversity in its cast, it is the kind of show that is needed right now. The talent of the actors and the well written dialogues makes it a witty, darkly funny and thrilling ride. It deserves more praise than what it is getting, imho..Score: 5/5
