Noah, a screenwriter and hopeless romantic, tries to navigate the ups and downs of his love life while relying heavily on the support of his friends; Alex is an HIV/AIDS educator and the de-facto matriarch of the group; Ricky has a very liberal attitude towards sexuality, and the funky clothing store he owns gives him the opportunity to pursue his twin passions, fashion and men; and Chance, the most conservative and supposedly rational of the group, is a college professor trying to reconcile his expectations of a prim and proper life with reality. It's Sex & The City meets Soul Food - but gay, of course.

Innovatived, Fun and SexyI've been hooked on "Noah's Arc" since the very beginning when it was introduced at various film festivals and previewed by every gay-based website online. The four main characters (Noah, Alex, Ricky and Chance) are well-conceived, grounded and, overall, hilarious. I swear it's as if the writer/director had sat down with me and some friends of mine and based the show on our lives in Baltimore (B-more). I am glad to say that I have purchased the DVD-box set, in which I am very pleased with. I hope the show goes on for many more seasons and I will be watching the brand-new season tonight @ 10pm. Noah's ArcI will first start out by saying that I am a hetero female. But, this is the best written, best acted comedy-drama series that I have ever seen. The writing is phenomenal, the characters grow on you, and the different story lines keep you watching week after week. What I liked most is that it's not a bunch of glam queens prancing around making gay jokes. These characters were made to be everyday people who just happen to be gay. After watching a few episodes, I found myself on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. Not to mention that both Noah and Wade are two of the finest men that I have seen on tv. If you haven't seen the series yet, please do. I am sure you will be fan..Score: 5/5
