James Roday plays the somewhat eccentric Shawn Spencer, a police consultant who solves crimes with powers of observation so acute that the police think he's psychic — or so he lets them think. With the reluctant assistance of his best friend Gus (Dule Hill), Shawn opens up a P.I. agency, Psych, and together they begin solving cases even the most seasoned detectives cannot crack.
Psych is a quick-witted comedy starring James Roday as young police consultant Shawn Spencer, who solves crimes with powers of observation so acute that Santa Barbara PD detectives think he's psychic. Psych also stars Dule Hill as Shawn's best friend and reluctant sidekick, Gus, and Corbin Bernsen as Shawn's disapproving father, Henry, who ironically was the one who honed his son's "observation" skills as a child.

Amazingg. i cannot live with out this showThis show is incredible. It is hilarious but not inappropriate and has action but has more logic and deductive reasoning than just people running around with guns. The characters are fresh and interesting and the actors are fantastic. My entire family loves watching this show. This is literally the best show ever (and I'm really picky about which shows are good). Well worth every penny. I watch these shows over and over again. One of my favouritesWhen I first heard about this show (last year) I had found it by googling funny detective shows. I was a little iffy at first because of the psychic part but I am glad I watched it. This show is amazing I have boughten all the episodes and can't wait for an new one each week on tv. The actors are amazing and it's got the murder/mystery part that I love we'll still being able to be funny!!! I especially love the parody episode (Tuesday the 17th, Indiana Shawn...., here's lassie, and so on) definitely recommend this.Score: 5/5
