For its 17th season, The Real World heads to the southernmost point of the United States — that tropical island full of hidden treasures, Key West. This time around, our seven strangers have more than each other to contend with, as they end up having to share their luxurious waterfront pad with three unexpected "guests": Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Wilma. In the midst of all the turmoil from Mother Nature, the roommates still have a job to do: open and run Key West's first Mystic Tan Sunless Tanning studio. Of course, work drama and hurricane evacuations don't keep the roomies from partying at Hemingway's favorite watering hole, seeking romance, and making the most of Fantasy Fest, an annual Key West event that rivals Mardi Gras in sheer size and audacity. Along the way, personalities clash and issues ranging from anorexia to anger management emerge. Can these seven very different strangers end up as seven friends? Get ready for the stormiest season yet!

What the heck HAPPENED?!!We really need VINTAGE "Real World" back when it was a show about people trying to get along. Lately (since the hideous "Las Vegas" season, to be precise), it is about drunken bar fights and hot tub screwing. We need "San Fran" and "Miami" and "Boston". Back then, the freaks at the bar all the time were the ones you never saw. These latest ones are a poor excuse. It's nothing but drama queens who just want a little camera time. Most annoying people in one show.Tyler likes to pick at people to create confrontations-sometimes understandable but mostly at nothing. He needs to protect his post-Real World rep. Bitchy and tiresome! To the "Mariah Carey diva without the talent" girl(forget her name) two words-personal relations. Stupid. To the girl who went to therapy, good for her but I commend the "cute boy" for telling her to shut up after acting out. MTV probably played up her story to make up for the complete boredom. And I want my hour I spent watching the two shows back!.Score: 1/5
EwwI used to like this show... before key west. I have to say that this is by far the worst episode ever. Who would want to buy this season? MTV, u need to get back to the MUSIC, considering that is what the M in MTV stands for, not reality shows. If it was it wouldn't be MTV, it would be RTV or something like that..Score: 2/5
