Abbott Elementary, Seasons 1-2 Release Date and Synopsis

They may be outnumbered. They may be underfunded. But these dedicated teachers are determined to help their students thrive despite the odds. Welcome to Abbott Elementary, the critically acclaimed comedy series about a mismanaged Philadelphia public school and its devoted staff. Although most new hires don’t last more than two years, ever-optimistic second-grade teacher Janine Teagues is determined to succeed, along with fellow second-year co-worker Jacob Hill, Abbott’s awkward History instructor. Seasoned kindergarten teacher Barbara Howard is Abbott’s voice of reason, while no-nonsense Melissa Schemmenti uses her questionable connections to benefit the school. And although good-hearted new substitute teacher Gregory Eddie applied for school principal, that job went to the underqualified yet devious Ava Coleman. Class is back in session with the first two seasons of this uplifting and hilarious look at the education system.
