Having left the hollers of Kentucky 15 years ago, Raylan Givens now lives in Miami, a walking anachronism balancing his life as a U.S. Marshal and part-time father of a 15-year-old girl. His hair is grayer, his hat is dirtier, and the road in front of him is suddenly a lot shorter than the road behind. A chance encounter on a desolate Florida highway sends him to Detroit. There he crosses paths with Clement Mansell, aka The Oklahoma Wildman, a violent, sociopathic desperado who's already slipped through the fingers of Detroit's finest once and aims to do so again. Mansell's lawyer, formidable Motor City native Carolyn Wilder, has every intention of representing her client, even as she finds herself caught in between cop and criminal, with her own game afoot as well. These three characters set out on a collision course in classic Elmore Leonard fashion, to see who makes it out of the City Primeval alive.

Justified justiNOPEThe story line is terrible. This isn’t even remotely like the original justified. They shouldn’t even have called this justified they should have renamed it and left Raylen out. Just seems like everything is getting ruined with remakes or continuing shows years later with poorly executed storylines and actors..Score: 1/5
Long winded soap opera....This is the kind of stuff that writers and actors love because they get to sit and spit out pithy dialogue while the audience falls asleep. Raylan is merely an outside observer and ultimately like many current shows... there isn't a single person worth caring about. Yellowstone in Detroit. A disgrace compared to the original series and the only way this could have been saved would have been taking it all and trying to edit 2 good hours from this mess... and simply release that..Score: 1/5

Quality Production - Story not Grabbing MeThe last 15 minutes of the last episode is all that interested me. This storyline could’ve been done well inside one episode. It wasn’t all that interesting. Holbrook is great though. Olyphant is the man, as usual. Hope it comes back with another in more the classic structure and follows up where it left off here..Score: 5/5
Excelente 👏It loosely follows the book City Primeval by Elmore Leonard. The novel itself is not that great. I give the storyline a 8.5-9/10. I always pictured the judge as being white. It would have been better to see the judge as Caucasian. Mansell is great. Det. Cruz is Raylan Givens. And you know any gunslinging showdown with Timothy Olyphant is 100% gold. I hope they keep making more Justified series. Obviously they will be different and some better than others. Random thought: Timothy Olyphant should make western’s. I’m late for the 7th episode.
