DI Sunny Khan and the team are left to pick up the pieces in the wake of DCI Cassie Stuart’s tragic death. When a body is discovered in a chimney in a West London house, they attempt to return to business as usual, but Cassie’s replacement, DCI Jess James, is not making life easy for anyone. With Sunny still grieving, it’s near impossible to see how the team will come together to solve the case.
Unforgotten focuses on ‘cold' murder cases. Each series deals with a new case, introducing seemingly unconnected characters who are gradually revealed to have some relationship with the victim. As the murder mystery unfolds, the emotional ramifications of the crime on the lives of those affected are also explored.

Great recastingAt first, I wasn’t sure about the continuing the series after the loss of the main character in the past four seasons. Going into it. Quite skeptical, I was a little harder on reviewing it. However, after about the third episode, I felt like I was watching a brilliantly executed start up of a new unforgettable. I hope that they continue on and give us many more seasons of this gritty, and addictive UK suspense/mystery/drama. True crime TV show without the true crime. 4 to 5 stars just because of the disappointment over the main character, and that it took around three episodes to establish, the relationship of that character with the rest of the cast. Will definitely watch again highly recommend. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨.Score: 4/5
