Simply amazingI was just the average TV watcher who doesn't care about the how the show was created until I watched Studio 60. i was just amazed at how good it is, and I instantly became a fan of Aaron Sorkin. The writing is just remarkable. I especially love the chemistry between Matthew Perry and Bradley Whitford. The only reason why I don't watch this show more often than I do now is because after watching it I become extremely upset with NBC for what they did to the show. I still cannot believe that something of this quality was not given a chance for a second season to find its viewers. I heard that they're developing a Studio 60 movie and I'm just glad that I can see the whole gang back together. Even though deep down I'm still hoping for it to come back to TV..Score: 5/5
I agreeI agree with all the good reviews, i enjoyed the show myself, but like other shows it all depends on ratings (as was the plot on the show itself) and sadly this show received record like poor ratings leading to its cancellation. If you knew it was cancelled before you watched the last episode (s) you could tell the way it was ended meant it was done for good..Score: 5/5
Makes me miss SPORTS NIGHTThis show rocks my boat. I tried it for one episode, and I was hooked. I am in the Virigin Islands and I wait with anticipation for every download. I even signed up for network channel access (with additional cost) to see this show on the network. I shall set my DVR for this...... also check out "Dexter" on Showtime. Its a WONDERFUL show!!!!!!Please, please to everyone responsible and have the power to decide, BRING BACK Studio 60 to a SECOND SEASON and the seasons after that and after that . . . . . .!!! We NEED this kind of show in the midst of IDIOTIC, STUPID, SLAPSTICK sitcoms!!!!! Its very intelligent, funny, witty, and I wanna be like Aaron Sorkin and his team in Studio 60! Kudos to Matthew Perry for having 'broken away' from the 'Friends' alma mater and moving on to something else he is gonna be appreciate for. Bradford, he is forever an intelligent actor. PLEASE!!! THE VERY BEST THING (no longer) ON TELEVISIONI only had limited expectations for this show. I saw actors who had been important parts of previous casts. I didn't think it would be possible for all of them to get beyond their past roles. The writing was crisp, interesting, natural and explosive. I found myself cheering for every character. No one dimensional characters in the entire cast. I could understand them as individuals. It seemed that all points of view were given respect. The plots, while based in Hollywood culture, reflected the topics that most shows don't dare discuss. The story line was filled with war, racism, religious debate, drug addiction, sexism and plenty else. Bravo to the men and women responsible for this show. Shame to those who cancelled it..Score: 5/5
How Sad This Show Was Not Renewed!After downloading and viewing the entire 1st season and watching it a second time, I am once again amazed that this wonderfully written show was not renewed for a second season. The characters were fully developed and felt like personal friends. The writing was witty, funny and so darn tight! What a shame viewers are missing a Sorkin Masterpiece..Score: 5/5
Five stars?While Studio 60 is definitley one of my all time favorite shows, it does have one flaw, which is the "average viewer" will not understand some elements of the show. Since I have worked in Television Production before, I actually understand most of what goes on during the show, however, the average person who has no knowledge of Television Production will probably not understand some of the show...but all together, the show has some AMAZING shots. I love Studio 60..Score: 5/5

Talk about Over-pricing!I note that many reviewers have criticised itunes for the high price of their TV show downloads, but this must surely take the biscuit. Ā£35??? Are you having a laugh itunes? Some online retailers have this DVD box set for less than Ā£12!! I'd love to fill my ipod with quality TV (like this show), but not at these vastly inflated prices. Brilliant!Studio 60 is probably one of the best television series I have watched. Sorkin manages to seamlessly combine witty reparte and sparkling humour with moments that - for want of a better phrase - really make you think.
