In the second season of Martin, the relationship between radio talk show host Martin Payne (Martin Lawrence) and his girlfriend, Gina (Tisha Campbell), is heating up quickly. Nearly inseparable, the two are spending an increasing amount of time together at Martin's apartment, provoking the ire of Gina's best friend, Pam (Tichina Arnold), and Martin's best friends, Cole (Carl Anthony Payne II) and Tommy (Thomas Mikal Ford). Pam doesn't approve of Martin's massive yet fragile male ego, while Cole and Tommy are jealous of Martin's steady relationship with Gina and frequently complain that she has too much power over him. Keep an eye out for guest stars including recording artists Snoop Dogg, Brian McKnight and Jodeci, NFL star Randall Cunningham, comedians John Witherspoon (The Wayans Bros., Hollywood Shuffle) and Tommy Davidson (In Living Color), and boxing champion Thomas "Hit Man" Hearns.
Martin is a sassy sitcom centering on a radio-and-television personality named Martin Payne. The series focuses on Martin's romantic relationship with girlfriend Gina Waters, his job changes from a radio personality to a television personality, and the variety of friends Martin hangs out with along the way: the loud-mouthed and sassy Pam James and his best friends Tommy Strong and Cole Brown. Very funny and we want more itunes!This show is so funny. I love all the crazy characters that Martin plays especially the mouthy next door neighbour Shahnene (not sure how you spell her name). Although it came out in the 90s its still really fun. I checked the internet and there are other seasons - so come on itunes can we have seasons 3-5 please!
