Sherlock House or Gregory Holmes?This show is aces in my book. The witty banter and engaging dialouge create a show that is both sophisticated and entertaining to a "T"(and that rhymes with "p", and that stands for pool). But back to the point, I can't help but notice the similarities to House and Sherlock Holmes. Both are geniouses in their fields, and both are detectives, one for medicine and one for crimes. Both of them have assistants (Dr. Watson and Doctor Wilson) and both the assistants lived with them. Both carry a cane, both are remarkable musicians. Both have drug addictions, both are keen observers, both make assuptions without having to see the culprit or case. Both live at 221 Baker Street. Both have bad relations with their superiors ( Scotland Yard and Cuddy). So, in essence, the young people that see House and think it is an original and remarkable idea for a show, are really seeing the greatest detective of all time, remade in the medical field, the mystery haven of the 21st century.Score: 5/5
A great start to one of the better shows in TV historyYou can't really compare House to NCIS or CSI. Also please don't ever say House isn't better than Grey's Anatomy. Grey's Anatomy is a soap opera that doesn't even belong on Primetime TV. House is a wild ride. Enjoy.Score: 5/5

Best tv show everHouse is definitely the best show on television. for anyone who hasn't seen it, i would recommend watching from the beginning. House isn't a character that you will like at first. I disliked the show the first two times i saw it, but when a friend sat me down and made me watch a few episodes in a row i realized very suddenly that i was really pulled in by House's unique charisma. Hugh Laurie's acting is great and I would recommend this show to anyone and everyone. the later seasons are even better than this one but this one is also integral in fully understanding who House is, and the psychology of that is a central theme in the show.Score: 5/5

Review from a 'House M.D' lover.House M.D is my favorite programme and i don't believe that any of the other series are as good ,or as bad as any of the others. The price on iTunes is ,in my opinion, a fair amount compared to the prices in shops near me (where it is usually, if not always, around £40-50). This is one of many brilliant series involving hugh laurie and i would suggest this to anyone who enjoys humor ,mixed with serious medical problems and a character you should hate but love. :D.Score: 5/5

ExcellentFor some reason this show has passed me by on regular tv. But because of all the rave reviews I thought i'd give it a try. I was not disappointed. Hugh is fantastic, as are the other cast members, and the program has the right mix of humour and seriousness. Its like a cross between ER and a detective/mystery show. But it has only the good bits from both. Thanks Apple for the HD version. Some may feel its expensive but considering i now don't have to buy a blu-ray player, its a steal..Score: 5/5
