Awesome series but.....Come on APPLE wake up! This series sells for $19.99 per season now. If it were less expensive on iTunes more people would buy it. Its time to get competitive. Great Season - But Beware nudity on Children of the GodsMy 11 year old son and I have always enjoyed the series together on television. I was absolutely shocked with the totally unnecessary nudity in the first episode. It was more than brief and last for an entire scene. iTunes - Please, please release a sanitized version. This is unprecedented with the rest of the series and really ruined it for me..Score: 3/5
Great but censored...The children of the gods episode is censored on here , not on Netflix, just weird , they blurred out the scene, it is so jarring , would rather the scene be cut than blurred. Hopefully this is fixed, but probably wonât be..Score: 5/5
Great Show....but Consider the Price first!I have been a big fan of Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis, ever since the Movie! The Plots are always good and the actors are top of there game! But at 34.99 per Season is $349.90 You can get the box set for under $200!! I see only 2 reasons for spending the extra $150. 1 U already have some of the seasons more then it would coast for the box! Or u travel alot like me and use ur iPod to keep up with ur shows or to see ur favs again! But if ur just starting out consider the Price Diff! I own the Box set and Love it has tons of special Fetures! But I have SG-1 Season 1,8,9,10 on my iPod because there my Favs!.Score: 5/5
Seriously, quit your over exaggerated WHINING!!!I will start off to say that this is one of the BEST shows that has ever come into existance. $24.99 is a FAIR PRICE, ONLINE! If your really going to complain about it, go SOMEWHERE ELSE. Wal*Mart sells seasons 2-8 for $14.95 each. please stop crying about the price being to high and do something about it. itunes isn't the only place where you can acquire SG-1, SGA, or any great sci-fi show for that matter. And if you didn't already know, most of the money you pay on itunes goes directly to Apple. So be smart and look elsewhere. STOP COMPLAINING ALREADY!.Score: 5/5

Stargate Sg-1Stargate is a good sci-fi show it is interesting and there is good acting by Christopher Judge and Richard dean Anderson. You have to give the creaters credit because if you think the special effects and picture is not as good as it could be you have to remember season one is quite old and was considered very good when it first aired if you are looking for good special effects and picture in terms of 2008 shows look for starget sg-1 season 9 or 10. As well I was wondering if the movie with Kurt Russel is on itunes because I havn't actually seen the movie ? Great show =) !!!.Score: 5/5
Great show, terrible transferI love this show, which is a nice continuation of the original movie even if the movie's writer and director didn't like it. It's well-crafted, and like Star Trek, it provides some morality tales along with the action and adventure. There's also a nice dash of humor that keeps it from getting too heavy. So why did I give it only two stars? Because of the lousy picture quality here on iTunes. I downloaded the pilot to have a look before deciding to download or buy DVDs, and iTunes fails. It's in widescreen as originally shot, and it's largely uncensored, but the picture quslity is terrible, with faded colors and a lack of visual detail. It comes across like an old, faded VHS tape. The Hulu presentation, by contrast, has much better picture quality, with sharper details (streamed in HD) and richer colors. Unfortunately, Hulu's prints are cropped to 4x3 for the first 7 seasons, and there is some censoring. A better choice is the newer DVD sets, in the clear cases with white title sleeves. They're widescreen and completely uncensored, the picture quality is as good as can be made on DVD, and they cost half as much per season as iTunes charges -- just $10 per season at Amazon.com..Score: 2/5

Great Series, and the original film is out too!Stargate SG-1 is one of the more successful sci-fi programs, hitting 10 seasons on the mainline series with three spin-offs (Atlantis, Universe and Infinity). However, one thing is missing from this awesome line-up, the animated series Infinity (which was admittedly ho-hum). On the plus side, the Kurt Russel Stargate film that sparked the whole thing off is out too. Yay!.Score: 5/5

SG1 Converted Me 5/5SG1 Converted Me & i thought that would be impossible as i am not, sorry i mean i was not a sci-fi fan, i never even watched Dr Who or Lost in Space for example i really cannot fault this great series & very believable too. i am just starting my journey with SG1 (series 1) as the team travel to new & different worlds meeting new races of people some more friendly than others & it is nice to see that as you watch the series that jack & his team are not out to destroy every one they see or meet & you can never predict the outcome of each episode & you also never know what to expect as you travel with sg1 through the stargate what or who waits for you at the other side & i believe i should not tell you anything more about sg1 because i would not like to spoil the surprise for you except to say, if sg1 can convert a 55yr old man & gets hours & hours of pleasure from watching this amazing series i suggest the younger viewer will enjoy it as much as i do if not more & we must not forget to thank iTunes for making it available at a reasonable price. "Thanks iTunes" I think you will find it cheaper at iTunes as I checked the prices on the high street shops & got quite a shock at the amount they wanted for the 1st series.*****.Score: 5/5
