Survivor: China will feature a cast of 16 Americans who will begin the series amid the bustle of downtown Shanghai before moving to HuangPu Mountain's Mi Tuo Temple for a Buddhist ceremony where they will be instructed to leave all of their worldly possessions behind. The castaways will then be marooned with the clothes on their back at two separate islands on Zhelin Lake (translation: the Land of 1,000 Lakes) located in the Jiangxi Province. They will split into two tribes, Fei Long (translation: Flying Dragon) and Zhan Hu (translation: Fighting Tiger), and will each be given a copy of Sun Tzu's The Art of War for tribe motivation and assistance throughout the game.
Eighteen to twenty castaways will compete against each other on Survivor. All castaways will compete to outwit, outplay, outlast and ultimately be crowned Sole Survivor.

Good Show Bad WritingI have always liked the Survivor concept, but this season has been wasted. Why go all the way to China if you are not going to take advantage of it's unique culture and topigraphical features? From what they show, this season could have been shot anywhere. (Florida) So they went to one temple and incorporated a couple of dragons into the challanges...So what. They have showed nothing but cliches about China..Score: 2/5

Five stars to iTunes and to this season... whats the deal??If you want the episodes right away then just watch it on tv and stop complaining. If you can't watch it on tv then just learn to be a little bit patient, because if you don't learn now you're going to have a pretty bad life getting all worked up waiting for everything. iTunes has done a good job of getting the episodes up and making them available to season pass holders for download in a timely manner. It's not as bad as most people make it out to be... it only takes an average of two or three days. This show is simply brilliant and amazing and this season is by far one of the shows best..Score: 5/5

A poor seasonThis season is boring. I'm a big fan of previous seasons, but this one is the least interesting. The challenges are not great and the teams are not exciting. Why the inconsistency in when the episodes are added?Add last night's episode! Sometimes iTunes is quick to do so and sometimes there is a significant time lapse.
