Mind Numbingly Stupid!Family guy has got to be the sorriest, most horrifically unfunny, and all around dumbest so-called comedy ever to air! I've seen a total of perhaps 10 episodes over the years and it didn't once elicit so much as an internal "that's kind of amusing", let alone a smile or a laugh. I check it once every so often and it steadfastly remains the most dreadfully unfunny thing i've ever encountered. Simpsons = Hilarious at one time, often funny Dilbert = Very funny King of the Hill = Fairly amusing with moments of brilliance. Futurama = occasionally amusing but mostly dumb or obnoxious. Family Guy = paralyzingly stupid when not just nerve grindingly obnoxious! The voices are horrible. The art is strangely worse that the ridiculous but amusing style of the Simpsons. The concepts are horrible. Half the time there's no discernible plot, or it veers off of it every other "joke". The jokes AREN'T jokes. They're jokes about jokes about clichéd jokes. Lois is Peter’s loving wife, a former Miss Teen Rhode Island who rules the roost but is one step away from a nervous breakdown. Then there are their kids: frumpy, 16-year-old Meg, the family's punching bag; 13-year-old Chris, a kid who can't make sense of the opposite sex, much less the evil monkey hiding in his closet; and 1-year-old Stewie, a diabolically clever baby whose heterosexuality is hanging by a thread. Rounding out the Griffin household is Brian, the family dog, a member of Mensa with a penchant for dry martinis and dumb blondes. The upcoming sixth season will feature guest voice appearances by Paris Hilton, Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson, among others. As Peter would say, "Freakin' sweet!"
