Not Even 1 StarThis show, along with others such as South Park, are prime examples of the low standards the modern television sitcoms have come to embrace. The animation, which could have been done by a 5th-grader, is boring and bland at best. The humor is low, crude, offensive, and thus fits perfectly into our immature society, where language, violence and sex are accepted like food. Not to mention - it's just plain STUPID! What is up with that effing dog? I've seen funnier cartoons in Pokemon commercials. And that stupid kid is probably the dumbest piece of 2-D animation I've ever seen in my life. I doubt this review will make it on this page, but I don't even care. "Family Guy" appeals only to those same immature idiots who sit in the back of their English class and laugh at the perverted interpretations of perfectly innocent lectures, and thus every single episode of this animated crap-fest deserves nothing less than the ninth circle of Dante's Hell..Score: 1/5

Sick, twisted, politically incorrect and Freakin' Sweet animated series featuring the adventures of the dysfunctional Griffin family. Bumbling Peter and long-suffering Lois have three kids. The final member of the family is Brian - a talking dog and much more than a pet, he keeps Stewie in check whilst sipping Martinis and sorting through his own life issues.

Lois is Peter’s loving wife, a former Miss Teen Rhode Island who rules the roost but is one step away from a nervous breakdown. Then there are their kids: frumpy, 16-year-old Meg, the family's punching bag; 13-year-old Chris, a kid who can't make sense of the opposite sex, much less the evil monkey hiding in his closet; and 1-year-old Stewie, a diabolically clever baby whose heterosexuality is hanging by a thread. Rounding out the Griffin household is Brian, the family dog, a member of Mensa with a penchant for dry martinis and dumb blondes. The upcoming sixth season will feature guest voice appearances by Paris Hilton, Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson, among others. As Peter would say, "Freakin' sweet!"

In 2009, Family Guy earned an Emmy¼ nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series, making it only the second animated series in television history to be honored with such a distinction. The show follows the adventures of lovable oaf Peter Griffin (Seth MacFarlane) and his hilariously odd family of middle-class New Englanders. During the upcoming season, the Griffins and fellow Quahog residents attend a fancy dinner party and become embroiled in a classic "whodunit” murder mystery, Lois becomes a local sports hero, and Stewie works for Brian as his literary manager. Guest voices for this season include Rainn Wilson, John Ashcroft, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Drew Carey and Bill Maher.
