A Great Pertwee story'The Green Death' is a great mid-1970's story with a strong ecology message. It's also the last story with Pertwee's faithful companion Jo Grant. Welsh accents, creepy green maggots, and the Brigadier eating mushrooms. Great fun! In response to srg.pepper's question: the first Doctor Who story is called 'An Unearthly Child', which introduces the Doctor, his granddaughter Susan, and London schoolteachers Ian and Barabara. Maybe iTunes will offer that soon..Score: 4/5
Awesome!I'm so glad iTunes has made some classic Doctor Who available - and many of the stories chosen aren't even on DVD yet! With public television (for most cities) no longer airing it, and except for rare VHS copies - this is the only way you can get some of these titles. Go iTunes!.Score: 4/5

"The One With The Maggots"Whenever an over 40 "muggle" finds out that I am a self confessed DW fan, the one question they always ask is "Do you remember the one with the Maggots?" Iconic is a word that is bandied about all to often, but is entirely appropriate here being the one story that stuck in the nation's conciousness due to it's imagery..Score: 5/5
Always Good!As a Doctor Who fan since I was a small boy I'm pleased to say that I remember them all, some of my earliest memories are of William Hartnell, Daleks, Zarbi and the like. The Green Death will never be lauded as a classic but it is non the less a fine example of what we were watching in the 70s. Doctor Who was short of money and most of the stories set on other planets and in the future had to be stuffed on the back burner because it was so much cheaper to have our hero earthbound - did it spoil our enjoyment of this wonderful series...hell no!!! This story sees the departure of Jo Grant and the end of yet another companion, but we get to meet the giant Maggots! - oh the memories come flooding back. My only critisism of Doctor Who on iTunes is that there just isn't enough of it!!! Stop reading this pointless rubbish and download and enjoy!!!.Score: 4/5

The Green DeathA brilliant story, with the giant maggots, and Jo Grant staying behind and getting married to professor jones, and the Doctor leaving at the end, the following story,Sarah Jane Smith is his next assistant, when I purchased this Doctor Who story, from episodes three to six, the episodes were the wrong way,so I rearranged the episodes to the proper place, by right clicking on my mouse on the info section, at my end, to put it right, all in all a brilliant story..Score: 5/5
