We (THE FANS) WANT DALEK EPISODESWe want Dalek episodes please as many stories you can put up on the iTunes store. We also like Cybermen shows :-) I like the originality of the make-up of the sontarans. This is the first time Sarah jane Smith encounters the Sontarans along with Harry. This is the only short series on iTunes and worth every penny :-).Score: 5/5
Okay episode.More of a filler episode in between "The Ark in Space" and "Destiny of The Daleks" than anything. Two quick facts: Tom Baker broke his collarbone shooting this episode and the actor portraying the Sontaran could barely move in his costume, so the climactic battle at the end is actually fought by Stand Ins. Another fact: the picture iTunes used for this episode is actually from "The Time Warrior"..Score: 3/5
The Sontaran ExperimentThe Sontarans have found Earth. It is unknown to the Sontarans that the Earth is still recovering from the effects of the Solar Flares, though a lone scout named Styre decides to take it upon himself to visit the Earth and find any remaining humans to conduct experiments on, so that he can exploit weaknesses against any and all humans in the future. The Doctor, Sarah and Harry transmat down from Space Station Nerva, onto a beautifully cinematic filmed location on Earth so that the rest of the awakening sleepers on the Ark can transmat down and repopulate the Earth. They find it to be habitible. While exploring, the Doctor, Sarah and Harry find a human crew from a crashed spaceship whom are selectivly vanishing and turning up dead. It is then that the Doctor discovers that a Sontaran is behind the plot. The Sontarans later travel back into Earth's history in such stories as 'The Time Warrior', 'The Two Doctors' and 'The Sontaran Strategem'/'The Poison Sky'. They use the information in Styre's report to torture humans..Score: 5/5
My introduction to the SontaransI downloaded these episodes to go along with my intent to buy season 4 of Doctor Who. They were my favorite villians after the Daleks and the Cybermen. I hope iTunes will add more episodes with Tom Baker, but I also want them to keep the shows up longer or keep them in order..Score: 3/5

Not good but not badThis Episode Can be made better but it did do a major impact in Tom baker stories as this would lead to a Dalek story. This Could have been a 4 Parter But it was not the best episode ever.Score: 3/5
Not the Best.Sontaran Experiment was really filler in between the Ark in Space and Genesis and while Kevin Lindsey, Ian Marter and Lis Sladen put in good performances it's story doesn't make much sense in the wider context of the season and isn't spectacular anyway. The Robot fails to inspire terror and the story just seems to drag. Tom Baker while good does not get the chance to be his larger than life character as he has an accident during filming. Overall a 4/10 or 2/5. Plus whats with picture? That's from the Time Warrior.....Score: 2/5

Sarah Jane once more at the Sontaran's mercy! This story was a filler between 'The Ark in Space' and 'Genesis of the Daleks' and is only 2 episodes long... The Doctor, Sarah Jane and Harry teleport down to Earth (leaving the TARDIS on the beacon) to repair the transmat system so the revived humans from Nerva beacon can begin to repopulate the abandoned planet... However, the planet is far from uninhabited. Who is the 'Alien' in the rocks? And why is he so interested in Earth? With both the Doctor and Harry missing, can Sarah Jane discover what is happening? This is an oft maligned story, but taken at face value I find it to be an interesting look at human interaction and endurance. A good story, but you'll find a lot of long shots of Tom Baker as he had broken his arm during filming, and many of his shots were a stunt man dressed as him. If you look carefully in the close ups of Tom Baker you can see that he uses his famous scarf as a sling for his injured arm... A bargin at just Ā£2.99..Score: 5/5

Sontar-hand me the remote and turn it off!As far as Doctor Who goes it isn't that good. The story line is slow to develop and confusing. Episode 1 is just an ecstacy of fumbling and only becomes interesting at its cliff-hanger. If you're thinking of buying this because it is the cheapest of all the classic episodes so far, be warned! This is a boring story. If you are new to Classic who, try watching one of the Ā£4.99 episodes. They may be more expensive, but they are worth it!.Score: 3/5
Classic!I'm sorry I totally disagree with the bad reviews but each to their own. I think this is a great little two parter and very well priced. I remember the Sontarans scaring the whatsits out of me as a kid. The episode, set in the future when earth's been ravaged by nuclear war, shows them as both relentless and ruthless monsters. The premise of humans being tested on for their tolerence to starvation, dehydration, etc is genuinelly quite chilling. The cast are on great form and the story moves at pace unlike some flabbier classic stories which could drag a bit. Do yourself a favour and buy it!.Score: 5/5
Quite good.Typical classic Doctor Who silliness that should please most. A lot cheaper than the other episodes on iTunes and Tom Baker does a great job as the famous Time Lord..Score: 4/5
