Almost brilliantHad they just used several voice actors instead of one person like on an audio book, it would've been perfect. But this is an early motion comic, maybe the first. So there were no rules or expectations -- totally uncharted waters. Outstanding work. Let's see more of this sort of motion comics stuff!.Score: 4/5

This is an undiscovered gem. This motion picture comic was dreamt up long before Zack Snyder got approval to do the movie. This genre of motion comic never quite got off the ground and that’s a shame. It’s beautiful and a true and faithful tribute to Moore and Gibbon’s original work..Score: 5/5

MUCH BETTER THEN THE MOVIE ITSELFSo much better then the movie itself, the movie just didn't have enough time to build up the story and left out too many details, unlike this masterpiece..Score: 5/5

Chapter 11Wow.......out of the 12 chapters, chapter 11 is easily my favorite. The end was heart pounding, captured almost perfectly. i almost don't want to go see the movie now because I KNOW that there is NO WAY they can cram so much story into one movie. It's impossible and I'm not going to enjoy an amended version of it. We'll see........Score: 5/5

Above and Beyond! For those who want to get the basic idea behind WATCHMEN before seeing the film, this is perfect. Also for those of us who loved the comics, they are now brought to life with itunes new motion comics! If you enjoy the motion comic style, also chack out BATMAN B&W!.Score: 5/5

If you’d rather watch than read the book. It’s literally the entire book animated. The movie removed a lot of the parts that made the comic special, this added them back. The only things that take getting used to is the voices are done by the same person. That’s my only “gripe”. I bought this after being underwhelmed by the movie after reading the books. If you’re watching the show and want to get caught up, but not trying to read the comic, this is it. It’s going to take as long as reading the comic, but you don’t have to read... that’s the only advantage here..Score: 4/5

Excellent----perfect to watch before seeing the live action film for those who haven't read the comic book series in years. While I would never recommend this motion comic over the original series to anyone who had not yet read it, the motion comic is very faithful--word for word almost--to the original. Even the subtle, clever touches like the first panel of a comic page being related to the last panel or dialog of the preceding page are recreated in the motion comic. If you are not familiar with audiobooks read by a single voice actor, be forewarned--that is how the dialog is handled here. And it works..Score: 5/5

EchFirst the good: The animation is great for what it is. Considering they're taking Gibbons original artwork and animating it. The voice actor is great, putting a unique voice on each character. The bad: There is only one voice actor, who does all the voices. While the people who actually did the sound and animation did a great job, the producers could have spent a little bit more to flesh out the project a bit because as is, I don't feel that this is worth the money..Score: 3/5

Who watches the Watchmen?...I did, and I thought this motion comic was absolutely fantastic. FabI can't add anything extra to what has already been said: Great to see Gibbon's artwork 'alive' The soundtrack is superb - really makes it dark and foreboding lack of female actor is irritating at first but by the 2nd episode you'll have forgotten. BUT! What is wrong with episode 3? It won't download. Who can I report this to? I don't want to have to buy the episode having already spent £20. I don't usually do this but..I don't usually let itunes' service affect my rating of a product on here, but in this case I will make an exception. Its over £20 for the whole series, which, whilst they are fantastic, you can pay £7.98 to get the same motion comic collection, but on DVD (better I'd say) on Amazon.co.uk. Moreover, whilst these motion comics stand as a enjoyable addition to the comic, they are by no means comparable, and so your money would be FAR more wisely spent on the comic itself (again about £12 on amazon). "Ground Floor Coming up"Now I’ve been waiting for this for a while, for a couple of months I’ve seen this on the USA iTunes and been annoyed at no luck on a UK release! However I have finally been able to watch this and all I have to say about it are good things, the animation alone is a reason to watch this, seeing the small panels from the book that took up 1/9th of a page within the book, blown up in high resolution is amazing, and then animated! I have only two problems with this video. 1) iTunes as I said before took too long to import the story to the UK store as the USA store is already on episode 7! 2) The voice acting, sure its still a good representation of the characters but it is still one guy narrating all the characters! even the women!! Sure its not a big dink in the story but it's a bit odd having Dr Manhattan having only marginally different voice from Rorschach and Laurie no less. Very much worth buying and I cant wait to watch the later issues!.Score: 4/5
