Great story, but...... the wrong picture is attached. That's Paul McGann and Daphne Ashbrook from the 1996 TV Movie, not Colin Baker and Patrick Troughton, etc from The Two Doctors (1985)..Score: 4/5
Not my favorite of the "Doctors" specials. This is my least favorite specials, simply because I am not a fan of the sixth. The star of this show is definitely Frazer Hines (Jamie) and Patrick Troughton (Second Doctor) both are phenomenal together and act as how a Companion and Doctor should act. The story is decent, but half the time it felt like only Jamie and Second were getting anything done. Worth the watch though..Score: 5/5

A nice opportunity to see two DoctorsLike many kids in the US, I grew up watching Doctor Who on PBS, and i actually got to see almost all of the episodes from Jon Pertwee until the middle of Colin Baker's run. I saw a few with Patrick Troughton and a few with Sylvester McCoy, so those two (leaving aside William Hartnell, who I've only seen brief clips of) are the ones I've seen but never really got to know. There are several stories available in which two or more Doctors appear, most notably The Five Doctors, but this is one of the few that features two Doctors at length. For me, it was interesting to see these two play off each other, because I was always under the impression that their personalities were somewhat similar, somewhat silly, but also cold and calculating, as though the goofy ineptness was all an act. They're also both quite rough on their companions at time, but clearly care a great deal for them and look after them (and are looked after BY them), at other times. The story itself is not bad, characterized by the open framework and repeating corridor sets often seen in the 80s episodes, on the space station, while the Earth scenes are set in Spain and are quite interesting, because they're one of the few times you see the Doctor and aliens interact with modern times, until the show was resurrected a few years back..Score: 4/5
Story suffers in continuity but love Colin and PatLet me begin that I am not panning this story outright because it does have merit, but it's not quite the romp that it appears to be. Continuity: The idea that the Second Doctor had any contact with the Time Lords is a severe continuity error. The Doctor did not have any contact prior to The War Games (Pat's final story). Also, Jamie could not possibly know about the Time Lords but he is perfectly OK with the Second Doctor being one, as Jamie and Zoe's memories were modified to forget at the end of The War Games. In addition to the impossible scenario of the story, I only take issue on a couple of things. One is the body count of deaths. They're needlessly gruesome and unnecessary to the plot. Also, the Sontarans have really nothing to do with the story, sorry to say. Aside from these issues, I love Colin and Pat, together and apart, in the story. This performance was Pat's last in Doctor Who, and while he was great, it's not the best story for a tribute. I know that this story is considered as one of the Classic greats, but really when you examine it, the story is rather embarrassing in its continuity problems and (needless) violence. I give the actors five stars and two to the script. The Two Doctors deserves to be a gem in the Classic crown, but ends up as being rather less than that. But in the end, I bought it, because it does give us a chance to experience Colin and Pat in they're only story together..Score: 3/5
Thank you BBC, but sloppy work!!I love DR WHO and iTunes, but these episode are horribly miss-labled and miss-organized. Please do not name an episode " episode 1" "episode 2" etc.. it will not sort correctly in itunes. it mixes all the ep 1's from othere serise. it should read ie: "sontaran experiment episode 01 of 04" etc... even worse some episode are simply miss numbered, episode 01 is actually episode 03 (see ghost light) . Also the above listed episode has album artwork from the wrong doctor... In fact that is a pic from the 1996 TV movie.. not even close! This is basic stuff BBC.Score: 4/5
