Support this show!I am a poor medical school student who will be $300K in debt yet I bought it in HD despite being able to watch it for free on the net. Why you ask? Because this along with George Martin's series which will be on HBO need to be supported. We need more decent TV that isnt CSI or NCIS or House (all of which I watch for the record). Although not intimately faithful to the books its doing a good job overall as what shows ever are trully faithful? Even the most fabled of all translations (LOR) was brining to the screen a book equivalent in size to one of Goodkind's or Martin's. LOR is a classic but also fairly short in the end (which frankly makes it that much more impressive). Just my $0.03 (inflation you know)..Score: 5/5
Good Show, Bad TranslationThough sometimes cheesy and over-the-top, this series is more than entertaining. I have read the Sword of Truth series and agree that this show strays GREATLY from the stories in the books, and it is sometimes frustrating to see the starkly different portrayals of characters and conflicts. However, the show manages to take pieces from the books and put them into an engaging television series. If you're a die-hard Sword of Truth, Goodkind fan, this show will probably make you angry if it's compared to the vivid and uniquely imaginative world of the books. But this is TV, not the books. So, looking at this as strictly its own entity of entertainment, it's a fun show that integrates some of the genius from Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series into captivating (though occasionally slow) stories. Plus it has, dare I say it, super hot actors (and yes, I agree, some terribly miscast actors, but hot nonetheless). Overall - an enchanting show that could never live up to such wonderful books; so don't compare it and give it a chance..Score: 4/5
Amazing show! Disapointed about the news...It's still a shocker that Seeker won't be coming back to TV. This really is a good show, once I saw the first episode I was completely HOOKED!!! I got my mom into it and she really isnt into all the fantasy mumbo jumbo. Lol When I began reading the books the show was even more fun to enjoy. I am ten chapters away from finishing the book Temple of the Winds (a very good read by the way), and adventures with Richard, Kahlan and Zedd pulled me right back into reading fantasy. I hope producers and/or whoever is over this decision sees these reviews to realize how much Seeker has become loved. SAVE OUR SEEKER!!!!.Score: 5/5

Give it a chanceNot all tv shows start out on top, i know a few that after three seasons turned out to be a hit and landed in the top 10. There should give it another chance and try one more season. Also there are so many people who only just heard of this show and didn't watch it on TV, like me. I bought it and watched it all on iTunes, and if it started playing on TV i would defienently watch it. So, if it starts playing on TV again their would probably be a lot more viewers. You'll have those who have always watched it, those who just heard of it, and friends of friends, and those who are flipping through the channels and think's it looks good. So all in all they should at least give this show one more season and see how it goes, and it still isn't getting a lot of viewers, (cause it will, this show has rave reviews), then by all means, i hate to say it, cancel it for good..Score: 5/5
May Such a Wonderful Show ContinueI have written a review for Season 2, and I felt as though I should've contributed to the first season, where I was instantly hooked and first found such great appreciation and devotion to such a riveting series! I really would love to see this show continue and stay on the air! I don't feel that there are many other television shows out there that compare or even fall into this type of genre. Let's let it grow and continue to develop into the incomparable and fantastic show that it has already been created to be!.Score: 5/5
Why deviate so much from the books?My kids love it, they haven't read the books. I don't understand why they deviated so much from them. In essence it is very, very loosely linked to the books. Would have been better to call it something else even if inspired by the original series. If I had not read the books I might have rated it slightly higher but the quality of the directing and acting, besides the pilot perhaps, is mediocre. A bit violent so TV14 is correctly suggested..Score: 2/5
Good old fashioned sword and sorcery!!My college-aged daughter recommended this one to me. I haven't been watching TV much in the past decade because there are so few compelling stories with real heros and the classic struggle between good and evil. I'm burning through season one, looking forward to season two. And I may even read the books since people say they are even better than the show..Score: 5/5

I wish there was a season 3 it's sooooo brilliantI absolutely LOVE legend of the seeker i only wish that they did a season 3 i just love this show soooooooooo much I LOVE IT so much I can't even find words to describe it .
