Simply amazing!Although Dr. Who first premiered in 1963, I didn't start watching it until this year. David Tennant is AMAZING as the Doctor, bringing a manic yet still nuanced performance. I like Donna as his companion; her stubborn personality and candor are a good match for the Doctor. Dr. Who is true family entertainment, which is sadly lacking in the US these days. The show has everything: thrills, laughs, chills, and a few genuinely sad moments. It's fun, fresh, and brilliantly acted. It's also, for the most part, incredibly newbie-friendly. Even with over 30 years of story history, it's easy for someone unfamiliar with the show to jump right in. Dr. Who is not only my favorite sci-fi show currently airing, it's one of my favorite sci-fi shows of all time. Do yourself a favor and check it out!.Score: 5/5

Worth the buy!I was introduced to DW by a friend of mine about a month ago. To be honest, I was more the reluctant to sit and watch a "nerd show" for, what I thought, would be a 45 minute waste of my life. However, after only 10 minutes of "The Unicorn and the Wasp," and one seriously "laughed-so-hard-my-sides-are-killing-me" charades scene, I was HOOKED. Since then, I've finished the whole of season(/series?) 4 and have become an avid addict, though I'm still a newbie (working through the first, second, and third series with Rose and Martha; loving every minute!) I instantly took a liking to the comical, yet emotional character of Donna Noble. The hilarious interactions between Catherine Tate and David Tennant is just comedy GOLD. I love it! I continue to re-watch the miming scene from "Partners in Crime" and the charades scene from "The Unicorn and the Wasp" Some of the show's finest moments are right there! The sarcastic one-liners from Donna are great, too! "Don't get clever in Latin" My favorite episodes (Can't I just name them all?) would have to be The Fires of Pompeii, The Doctor's Daughter, the two-part library episodes (Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead), and the three-part season finale. American Sci-Fi/Drama/Adventure shows PALE in comparison to Doctor Who--and that's coming from an American. This show is definitely worth the buy!.Score: 5/5

AMAZING!!!This is the best season of the best show ever! David is a wonderful doctor!.Score: 5/5

Probably the best Doctor/Companion combination everDon't get me wrong. Every series (season) is good. But this one holds a special place in my heart because the relationship between the Doctor and Donna did not suffer from the same faults as previous years. In series 1, Rose was a bit annoying at times, and although I adored Eccleston as the Doctor, Rose seemed to weigh him down a bit, and Mickey and Jackie were a bit too goofy. In series 2, Rose became too dependent on the Doctor and things got a little too soap opera-ish (though still effective and incredibly heart-breaking). I liked that the Doctor, in series 3, did not fall in love with Martha, though I hated the lovesick puppy that she became. But Donna? She is strong, sarcastic, funny, and best of all, her own woman. She is the Doctor's best friend and counterpart, not his main squeeze, and I simply adore that. Paired with David Tennant's range and passion, it was absolutely brilliant. Some of the best episodes are found in series 4... Silence in the Library, Forest of the Dead, Turn Left, and of course, Blink. The best aliens, too: the Adipose, the weeping angels, the Sontarans (though I do miss the Slitheen, if only to hear "Raxacoricofallapatorious" again). And then there's River Song. Ooooh, boy, do I love to hate her! She's an absolutely fascinating character, but always felt like bad news to me. The only problem is that the series' end (as shown here on iTunes*) is a bit weak. Russell T Davies likes to bring previous characters back, almost like a family reunion, and give them New Important Roles (tm)... I guess to drive home the idea that the Doctor makes people strive to be better. It just seems soooo forced. I could have done without that. (*Note: iTunes lists only the above episodes as series 4, but the five David Tennant specials... which aired the year after series 4 and before the start of series 5... should really be included as well. The End of Time parts 1 and 2 are the actual conclusion to the 10th Doctor/Donna story, so make sure not to skip those before plunging into series 5.).Score: 5/5

Amazing season, but there’s a missing episode on hereJust know before purchasing that “The End of Time” two part story isn’t included like it was on Netflix. I understand it’s a separate special like the christmas specials. but it’s actually REALLY FRUSTRATING bc that’s the episode that Ten regenerates in. So it goes from Journey’s End where the doctor is alive to season 5 where Eleven has arrived. That makes no sense it should be included in S4. 4.
(Például: "Visszatér...", "Van valami a hátán", "A dal véget ér" stb.) Ezek végigszelték az egész évadot, míg csak a záróepizódban és a "The End of Time" című különkiadásban (filmben) kaptunk rá magyarázatot.
