This is a fantastic season for David Tennant. However the last episode is not included on iTunes! They’ve separated it into Tennant specials Volume one; those specials being the Christmas episodes. Dumb because the Christmas episodes are included with all of his other seasons except this one. Money grab. :( What I don’t understand is why episode 15 is included with the rest of the season on Prime Video and not iTunes. I’m considering purchasing the seasons and iTunes is making me think my cash would be better spent on Amazon.
What happened to the ending they missed the actual parts where Donna was married and doc regenerated
just know before purchasing that “The End of Time” two part story isn’t included like it was on Netflix. I understand it’s a separate special like the christmas specials. but it’s actually REALLY FRUSTRATING bc that’s the episode that Ten regenerates in. So it goes from Journey’s End where the doctor is alive to season 5 where Eleven has arrived. That makes no sense it should be included in S4. Other than that issue with iTunes the season is wonderful!
This is an amazing show and i am not critisizing it. DO NOT BUY THOUGH. When purchased, it gives you episodes 1-14. Once i finished after purchase on iTunes, i went on to season 5 on netflix. S5E1 did not seem to pick up where the end left off. In the last episode of this season (that is the last episode that was given to you on iTunes) the doctor did NOT regenerate into a new doctor, and in S5E1, he was already regenerated. Of course i was confused so on netflix i checked season 4. Turns out there are 19 episodes in season 4. so, i went back to iTunes to see if i forgot to download some episodes, and it turns out that episodes 16-19 WERE NOT THERE. So DO NOT BUY!! It makes u pay full price for 14 episodes when there are really 19. iTunes, please fix this. Thanks.
Loved David in the 4th season
I love this show to death such a whovian
this is season 4 out of 7 AND THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST. a must buy for all fans (unless you have netflix)
my undcle came home and told me they had tons of doctor who stuff. and i said keep going, and he goes they had the screwdriver thing you have and they had a t shirt with the blue elevator. and i was thinking its a police box...
Best show I've watched
Why are there five or so episodes missing? Planet of the dead, Water on Mars, end of time and something else I think
do you want to bring back the old days where you used to watch this show in 1950?yes? well, this is the perfect seiries for you. you can watch it over again, episode from episode.
The series episode listing has 7 more titles in Season 4. Where did these go? They include the necessary transition to Season 5, "Next Doctor" 2008 Christmas Special ... what's up iTunes?
Absolutely incredible! I would give it ten stars if that were possible! Donna had the best attitude , she kind - of accented the doctor. I loved how Rose was all in love with the doctor, but Donna liked him in a diffent kind of way. The plots in episodes like Silence in the Library, Voyage of the damned, and Midnight were absolutely stunning! If you have watched the 5th series, it is nowhere near this good, quite boring actually. Even the Agatha Christie epiode was pretty good cause it was different, and Partners in crime was Hilarious!!! Soooooo Goooood! I'm coming back to my old comment here now, after watching the first episode in the second half of the sixth series. Doctor who has been officialy destroyed. It no longer contains that fun spirit and suspense. 'Let's kill hitler' had almost nothing to do with hitler. Go back to good old David!
I've been watching it from season 2 on space
This season is one of my favorite ones, I just started recently and after my first episode it basically made me want to run out and buy all the seasons. I really likes The doctors daughter and the
Though I think Donna was a bit overrated and could be too shouty at times, she was a solid companion for the Doctor. While the season wasn't as consistent as previous seasons, there were gems like "The Fires of Pompeii", "The Doctor's Daughter" (yay Jenny!), "Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead" & the brilliant "Midnight". While the bloated finale was over-the-top in spots, the fantastic return of Davros and the heartbreaking ending with Donna more than made up for it.
This is the first season of dr. who i saw and I loved it. I give it 6/5 stars. the olny episodes that were better were the 3pt episode Utoipa-The sound of drums-Last of the time lords (season 3) and the 2pt The emtpy child-The doctor dances (season 1)
Like the others this season delivers all of the great plots and ideas that caracterize this show. My favorite episode is the double "Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead".
I'm so happy Doctor Who is now available through iTunes!! In the next few months I'll be buying each series and then Torchwood.
I absolutely love doctor who. David Tenant is definitely my fave.
I think having kylie minogue in the christmas special was awsome and they should bring her back
THANKS FOR PUTTING DAVID TENNANT ON ITUNES!!!! ahhhhhhh i <3 him!! he is the only doctor the others can get lost..
ok so first we get the amazingly talented catherine tate for a whole series, who is amazingly good at both emotional scenes and comedy (watch her show), we also get the return of the amazing Billie Piper. Ok so since she left shes done that other show but to me she will always be Rose Tyler and her return was well worth the wait. I also love her mum when she tells the doctor she named her baby Doctor. classic. With a tremendous plot at the end the definite highlights for me were the first episode, the Agatha Christie's episode and the Doctors Daughter. Such an amazing series i am going to go watch it again now.
this is one of the best seasons ever it's funny has great actors and it is superb i recommend this season and end of time to dr who lovers and for people who haven't seen dr who season one and 2
i really want this season, but i need to find out how many giggs this is first. please, please answer this question for me because i really want to buy this season.
I have to say my favourite episode was midnight. It was so creepy and so good.
thanks for puting doctor who on itunes. im a really big fan of it. i was wondering if you would be able to put dr who-the end of time on itunes. if u can please do. thank you very much
I am a massive fan of Doctor Who, but I found that season 4 was different from the other seasons. It was more violent, with most of the storylines based around war. David Tennant acting was superb, as always, however, and Catherine Tate made for a really funny companion. The best eps off this season would be Forest of the Dead and Silence in the Library, and The Stolen Earth and Joourney's End. I'd buy the previous seasons first before buying these ones, as there are many story arcs between the first, second third and fourth seasons. A top show, I just hope that season 5 will be as good now that David Tennant and Russell T Davies are gone.
These episodes will make you laugh and cry . Donna and The Doctor are a good team, the banter between them is priceless. In December I believe the new season starts onBBC and they will have a NEW Doctor.I hope he is as witty and sentimental as Tennant.Cheers and enjoy
"Doctor Who is my favourite TV show and Series 4 is my favourite season. I really love Catherine Tate as Donna Noble. I think "SIlence in the Library" and "Forest of the Dead" are the best episodes of Doctor Who ever! You just have to buy this season!
There are some who really aren't intelligent enough to be watching shows like this. As a show Doctor Who first aired in November 1963 (I know because I remember I was 13 at the time) so this last season with David Tennant certainly qualifies as new if you are adding them to yoour collection. The new NEW season which will introduce young (he's 26) Matt Smith (and isn't it appropriate to finally have The Doctor played by someone named SMITH???---the ELEVENTH Doctor, that is since we NEVER count Peter Cushing's appearences as The Doctor because 1: He played him as a human inventor and 2: both his movies were just re-writes of two of William Hartnell's serials anyway) will begin airing in 2010.
Season 3 waz alot better freema is alot better actress than tha Donna noble person.
What a wonderful series. Each episode is packed with multiple crescendos and plot twists. Compelling, lovable characters and themes that entertain ones being. Truly refreshing, original, and fun.
I just started getting into Dr. Who (I've been missing out on a lot, I know...) but I have to say, after watching a vast majority of the newest stuff, the 4th season is the best of the lot. I'm heartbroken that David Tennant is leaving, but he's going out on a high note to say the least. I loved nearly every episode, they all left me wanting more. The writing is spot on, the acting is just brilliant, and Catherine Tate is, quite frankly, amazing. It was refreshing to not have romantic involvement between the companion and the doctor, and while it was obvious that the two of them cared for each other deeply, it turned into a more sibling relationship that worked so well. I definatley recommend this season to anyone interested.
Midnight was the episode that really got to me. I've been a fan of Dr. Who (esp. the 9th and 10th Doctors) for a while and Midnight isn't my favorite episode but its pretty amazing on its own. Its spooky and an interesting look at how human the Doctor really is. Loved this season.
So far there have been two Season 4 Specials, I would call that current and future. Where are they?
The Christmas Episode "The Next Doctor" will be here on June 28th and the Easter Special "Planet of the Dead" will be here in Late July. YEAH!!!!!
This series is ABSOLUTELY perfect in EVERY SINGLE WAY. Finale made me cry. Twists after Twists and the fabulous acting quality of David Tennant and Catherine Tate! If you want to be happy, watch this. I itched every second I wasn't watching it!!! This series is golden.
