Come join Charlie (Charlie Day), Mac (Rob McElhenney), Dennis (Glenn Howerton), Sweet Dee (Kaitlin Olson), and Frank (Danny DeVito), the self-centered owners of Paddy's Pub in Philadelphia who will do just about anything, no matter how reprehensible, in an attempt to better their own situation. Coming off a season in which they performed a musical, pooped the bed, and nearly died, you would think the gang would have learned their lesson by now. Well, think again.

Best season yet.As much as I like this show, it often seemed as if the first few seasons focused too much on how pathologically self serving these characters were, often at the expense of real wit. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed watching these glorious idiots battle the world and each other every Thursday night but this was the first season that it felt like there was a balance. Season 5 wasn't just about making you guffaw in disbelief at the gang's antics; the humor was more layered and, dare I say it, subtle. Along the way, they evn became a bit more human. I can't wait for the next season..Score: 4/5
The best new comedy of the decade!!!!Hands down one of the funniest shows i have ever seen in my life. The inconsiderate selfishness of these five is classic. I love how full of themselves they are and yet they are literally just clueless. Ranks right up there with Arrested Developement. Also the suprising crudeness and language for a cable show is amazingly fresh and original. If you have a sense of humor and love to laugh then sit back and get ready for a new type of sitcom! YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!!! And they are signed on for a 6 and 7th season .... And hopefully beyond!!!.Score: 5/5
