My son is 3My son JUST turned 3 and started watching this show when it started in Sept. He is now saying all these crazy big dino names and is so proud of himself! I am so glad that this show teaches the names because I sure as heck can't pronounce them!!!.Score: 5/5
Two Year Old Son Loves It!My two year old son absolutely adores this TV show. He loves learning about all the different dinosaurs and watching their reactions. I love it because it shows that there can always be that one odd kid out in a family that doesn't exactly look the same as you, but you treat him the same no matter what. When we go on long car rides, we cannot take my Touch away from him. He sits so silently and just watches the show over and over again..Score: 5/5
Educational, But a Bit Weird...I used to watch this TV show when I was a kid. I’ve got mixed feelings about it, though. I loved it when I was little, but now that I am older and have been through more schooling, I find it a bit weird how there are talking dinosaurs that do things that aren’t theoretically possible. I think it’s kind of silly and a little cringe-worthy at times, but I think your kids will like it when they’re young. But don’t get me wrong! It’s still great or kids and very educational! I would not prefer to watch it now, but your kids will probably think differently. I would recommend it for very small kids, but no one past 7 years old..Score: 2/5

Great Show! Educational, Entertaining and Fun!My 4 yr - 4 mo. old son LOVES this show. It is sooo hard to find shows for his age. Either they are too "baby" (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Einsteins) or way too violent or ignorant (Sponge Bob Square Pants, Transformers). He loves trains and loves dinosauers! He gets the best of both worlds and we have both learned a ton about each species. PBS Kids also has a game online where he can click on a species, take an x-ray of that species and learn about what it eats and more! Thank you PBS!.Score: 5/5
It's okayCute animation and tons of interesting facts about the age of the dino. What bothers me is the condescending voice in which these facts are delivered to the children: hyped up and over exuberant as if children wouldn't get the message when talked to in a normal voice. Unfortunately, this show is not alone in this (other kids shows too are guilty). If they could just tone it down a tad, it would be the perfect way to teach and entertain kids greatly..Score: 3/5

Adorable and InformativeThis cute little series is a must have! My 3 children ages 7, 3 and 2 all enjoy watching it. In fact they ask for it over and over again! The shows have catchy songs, great lessons on character, friendship and self esteem as well as many interesting facts about dinosaurs. At the end of each episode there is a breif lesson with a Palaeontologist, my 7 year old really enjoys this part of the episode as the Palaeontologist does a great job sharing about Dinosaurs in ways that kids can understand!.Score: 5/5
Show is great but if you bought early you got ripped offMy 5 yr old loves this show. The show itself is excellent. I rate the shows at a 5 but the low rating is for itunes. We bought 5 episodes at 1.99 each. Now iTunes has loaded up more episodes at 9.99 for the whole season. If iTunes were serious about customer service they would give the remaining downloads either for free or at a reduced cost. This is the 3rd time that this has happened to me. Don't judge The Dino train by it's cover!!!!Ok so sometimes I am a little shallow and choose a program based on the front graphics (I do this with books as well). So I watched a few of the previews. I was surprised to find the graphics were colorful and modern but I still wasn't convinced as to the quality of it's content and if it would keep my kids (ages 3,5,7 & 9) engaged. I took the final leap and purchased it (the whole searies, better value that way). Wow, am I ever glad that I did. I am realy happy with the quality of the educational information and entertainment it provides my children. My 9 year old is quoting dinosaur facts better than most adults and my other 3 request it more than any other show we have. I myself am impressed with the affordablity of this show (two shows in each episode). All in all it packs a lot of punch for it's price and I wish there were more shows like it..Score: 5/5

Horay for Dinosaur Train! My 4 year old won't stop watching this series. He LOVES it. Stuck in line at a grocery store, waiting in the doctor's office, getting on my nerves - just give him my touch, and he's good to go. He watches them over and over. My 10 year old daughter watches them on the computer and will sometimes snuggle up with her little brother on the couch when he is watching it on the touch. I started buying them one by one and now wish I had just bought the season pass - would have been cheaper, because I now MUST buy every episode.
